3-Day Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Park

Pick up from Entebbe International Airport (Uganda)

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by a driver-guide from Engagi Safaris. After meeting, greeting, and a short briefing, you will begin the drive heading southwest towards Lake Bunyonyi, which is the most beautiful lake in Uganda, with about 29islands, safe for swimming. The drive takes you through scenic landscapes of rolling hills, cultivated farmlands, and traditional Ugandan/Rwandan villages. You stop at the Uganda Equator for photography and a short break before continuing. You will then proceed to Lake Bunyonyi for an evening boat cruise to visit Bunyonyi's famous islands. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park/Mgahinga National Park

This is a memorable experience which can take approximately three to eight hours, depending on the movements of the Gorillas. You will be required to carry a packed lunch and enough drinking water, rain gear, long-sleeved shirts, and good hiking shoes. After meeting the gorilla family, you are allowed an hour to observe them at close range. You witness powerful silverbacks, playful juveniles, and nurturing mothers in a quiet, intimate setting. After gorilla trekking, you will transfer back to Lake Bunyonyi and stay overnight.

Transfer to the Airport Entebbe International Airport (Uganda)

In the morning, after breakfast, you will transfer back to the Airport or your hotel. The trip can either end in Rwanda or Uganda, depending on your preference.
Note:
The drive to or from Kigali to Bwindi is much shorter than driving to Entebbe.
There is also an option of domestic flights.
