The Central Serengeti is a prime location for exceptional game viewing throughout the year, thanks to its abundant resident wildlife. The Seronera River Valley in the Central Serengeti, in particular, is a must-see destination on any safari, regardless of the specific month of travel. Game viewing in the Central Serengeti reaches its peak during the dry season (June - November) when resident animals congregate in the area due to the scarcity of water on the plains. Resident herbivores include impala, buffalo, hippo, warthog, topi, hartebeest, and giraffe, while resident carnivores include lion and leopard.

Your meals for the day, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, are provided, and each person will receive 500ml of drinking water.

Within just an hour's game drive radius from Seronera, there are several documented resident lion prides. During the dry season, these prides gradually shift west and north within their territories, concentrating in the central region of the park. The dry season is an excellent time for lion viewing in the Central Serengeti. Additionally, the Central Serengeti is among the best areas in Africa to spot the elusive leopard.
