Day 1-2

On arrival in Victoria Falls, you will be met and transferred to Batonka Guest Lodge. This beautiful small lodge manages to retain a relaxed informal atmosphere whilst also maintaining impeccable standards. Situated only 2km from the Falls themselves, it's a great choice for a few days of relaxation. Enjoy a free afternoon walk around Victoria Falls town or stay within the grounds of the lodge itself by taking a dip in the pool and relaxing in the gardens. You will also have the whole of the folowing day to relax and enjoy all that Victoria Falls has to offer.

Day 3-5

Your African safari adventure begins today as you are picked up this morning from your hotel and transferred to Khulu Lodge. This is about a 2.5-hour drive.

This lodge is located just outside Hwange National Park. It is only about 15 minutes drive from the main park entrance gate making it very easy to go into the national park to do game drives. In addition, they have their own private concession where they can also do game drives. Khulu Lodge offers superb value for money and an authentic safari experience at an affordable price. They are famous for their resident Presidential herd of elephants which are often seen in the area or even on the grounds of the lodge! And the waterhole that can be seen from the lounge area and most rooms attracts many animals. The game viewing here is especially good in the July-October dry season.

You will enjoy the next 3 days doing morning and afternoon game activities. These include game drives and walking safaris.

Transfer from Khulu Lodge to Amalinda Lodge for 3 Nights

Transfer from Khulu Lodge to Amalinda Lodge for 3 Nights

You will now be transferred from Khulu Lodge to Camp Amalinda, with a journey time of approximately 5 hours.

Nestled in the private concession of the Matobo Hills National Park, the camp is in a spectacular setting amongst the ancient boulders of the hills. It’s a unique lodge with rooms that have been cleverly built into the rocks.

Camp Amalinda offers 9 thatched rooms with the interior appearance of a cave.

The activities include visits to Cecil John Rhodes' grave, tours to view San Bushmen paintings, rhino tracking, bird watching and walking in the Matobo Hills.

You'll end your trip to Zimbabwe in Matopo at Camp Amalinda which is a wonderful way to complement your safari.
