Day 1

You'll be picked up from the airport upon arrival and transferred to our office for a briefing. You'll meet your guide and the other group members and depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve via the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley and Narok town for refueling. You'll proceed to the game reserve where you will first check in at the lodge or camp for a hot lunch. You will have time for a little siesta before proceeding on the first introduction game viewing in Masai Mara National Reserve, returning to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Masai Mara National Reserve Game Viewing

After breakfast, you will proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close-range viewing and photography. You'll break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 3

Early morning, you'll grab a cup of tea or coffee and proceed for an optional activity of a visit to a Masai Village. At the village, you will have an opportunity to interact with the local community and you will pay $10 per person directly paid at the village. After breakfast, you'll depart the Mara region for Nakuru and have lunch en route, with scenic views of Mount Longonot and Lake Naivasha from afar on the main highway. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at a budget hotel.

Day 4

You'll have breakfast at the Nakuru hotel, check out before 8:00 am, and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park for a game drive. You'll visit the Rhinoceros Sanctuary to see the endangered black and white rhinos and the lake to search for the pink flamingos. Lake Nakuru National Park is small in size but its beauty is worth a visit, you'll drive to the Baboon Cliff for a thrilling view of the baboons. You'll exit Lake Nakuru and drive to Naivasha to arrive in time for a hot lunch. Afternoons and evenings are spent at leisure with an option to drive to the lake for an optional boat ride at extra cost. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Newstead Hotel Naivasha.

Day 5

You'll depart the hotel immediately after breakfast and drive to Hell’s Gate for registration. You can decide to cycle or enjoy a drive. Hell’s Gate National Park is one of the places in Kenya where you can walk alongside the wild animals as there are no predators. You'll take great pictures with an animal background as you descend to the Hell’s Gate Gorge. At the Gorge, you can enjoy a guided nature walk with the local guides to spice up your Kenya safari memories. Later, you'll ascend to the gate exit and leave Naivasha with a stopover for a hot lunch. You'll drive to Amboseli National Park. You'll arrive at Nyati Safari Camp before sunset for check-in, relaxation, dinner, a bonfire, and an overnight stay.

Amboseli National Park Game Viewing

This will be a day of game drives in this park which contains swamp grounds in which elephants and hippos bathe in abundance. A variety of plains game, antelopes, and birds can also be seen, and Mount Kilimanjaro’s peak too if weather conditions permit. We will cater for picnic lunches. Later, you'll return to your overnight stay at the camp.

You will have breakfast at your Arusha Hotel and meet our staff and driver-guide for a briefing about the whole trip. You will leave Arusha for a 6-hour drive to Serengeti National Park with lunch en route. Upon arrival at the main gate, the registration is done then with a game drive to the camp which is located at the Central Serengeti. Today you are scheduled for at least a 3-hour game drive. Dinner will be served at Seronera Camp followed by an overnight stay at the Seronera Campsite.

Day 9

You'll have an early breakfast at the camp then leave with picnic lunches for at least a 6-hour game drive within Serengeti National Park. Here, you will track the wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, lions, lionesses, black rhinos, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, bushbucks, lesser kudu, wild dogs, Kongoni, impalas, Grant’s gazelles, black-backed jackals, mongoose, olive baboons, Vervet monkeys among other animals found here. You will be lucky to see some of them. By noon, you'll leave the park with a stopover at Olduvai Gorge at an extra cost of USD35 per person. By evening, you'll arrive at the conservancy area where you will have dinner and an overnight stay at Simba Camp.

You'll enjoy an early morning game drive before breakfast. You'll return to the camp for late breakfast mid-morning and then depart to Lake Manyara with lunch en route. Upon arrival, you'll have the evening game drive till sunset. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp with an upgrade to beds and bedding. You will assist in pitching the tents.
