You'll meet your professional driver guide in Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro Airport and be transferred to Arusha Center Tourist Inn Hotel. Your English-speaking driver-guide will give you a brief on your 11-day safari and explain day-by-day activities.

Then visit Tanzanite museum. Tanzanite is one of the most beautiful blue gemstones known to the world. A symbol of elegance, sophistication and boldness, owning and complementing your outfits with a piece of tanzanite jewelry is sure to make you stand out in a crowd. However, Tanzanite has more to offer than just a pretty look overnight stay is on a bed and breakfast basis. You'll be 1200 m above sea level.

Day 2

Mt-Longido Trekking and Maasai Cultural Tour

Mt-Longido Trekking and Maasai Cultural Tour

You'll be picked up from Arusha Center Inn Hotel at 9:00 am and drive for 2 hours to Longido Maasai village. Then guided by Maasai warriors, walk 5 hours with packed lunch to the bird's refuge. You'll see weavers, sunbirds, barbets, turacos, buffalo weavers, etc. Walk through the foothills of Mount Longido to see different traditional medicine plant species. On clear days, you can see more than 200 km and view all the northern Tanzania mountains. This trek will take more than 7 hours.

At night Maasai warriors slaughter a goat and show you how they make the traditional barbeque. You'll also enjoy the Maasai traditional dance and eat the barbeque dinner. Your overnight stay will be at Longido Campsite. Campfire will be available as you enjoy storytelling with Maasai elders.

Day 3

Muriatata Maasai Village (Big Rocks) to Kitumbeine Trekking

After an early breakfast, drive halfway to Muriatata Maasai village (Big Rocks) guided by Maasai warriors and old men. Trek through the Maasai plains for 4-5 hours with packed lunch to Kitumbeine Maasai village.

In this area, clients expect to see giraffes, gerenuks, antelopes, small bucks and different species of birds. Pass to Maasai bomas (families) and enjoy a nice view of northern mountains e.g. Mt Kilimajaro, Mt Meru, Mt Ol Doinyo Lengai 'Maasai Mountain of God.'

In the evening, see how the Maasai women milk cattle. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at a Maasai boma campsite. Campfire will be available as you enjoy storytelling with Maasai elders and warriors.

Day 4

After an early breakfast, you'll be guided by Maasai warriors and old men for a 5-6 hours trek to Naikara Maasai Village (20 kilometers).

In this Maasai land, you will see many wild animals such as giraffes, dik-dik, lizards and small bucks grazing together with the domestic animals. Dinner and your overnight stay at a Maasai village.

Campfire will be available as well as storytelling with Maasai elders and warriors.

You'll have magnificent views of Mt Kilimanjaro, Mt Meru, Mt Ol Doinyo Lengai and Mt Longido. You'll also see bird species and small bucks. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at a Maasai boma camp. Under a big tree campfire will be available as well as storytelling by Maasai elders warriors.

Day 6

After early breakfast, you'll be guided by a Maasai warrior for a 3.5 hours trek (10 kilometers) with your lunch packets. After lunch, drive to Natron Campsite and rest for a few hours at Ol Doinyo Lengai (Maasai Mountain of God).

At 3:00 pm, walk to Lake Natron to view the large flocks of flamingoes and other species of water birds. Visit Munge thundering waterfalls, then walk back to Kamakia Campsite. Campfire will be available and storytelling with Maasai elders and warriors. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Natron Campsite.

At 1.00am have a cup of coffee and drive to the climbing starting point, it is hard and steep, you have to be a mountaineer, there is climbing on the rocks, climb with your guide up to the Mt Oldonyolengai Summit 9442 ft / 2878m see Volcanic eruption, view the magnificent landscape of the wonderful Ngorongoro Crater, Mt Longido, Lake Natron, Maasai Bush-land, Mt Kitumbeine, Mt Kerimasi etc

After sunrise descend down slowly slowly to the starting point, the driver will wait you there and drive back to the camp, then return back to the campsite for lunch.

After lunch drive to Kleins campsite for dinner and overnight.
