Day 1

Nairobi – Masai Mara

After breakfast in your hotel in Nairobi, you’ll be picked up by our professional guide and depart the Nairobi region for Masai Mara with lunch en-route. We drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley with a brief stop at its viewpoint, where you will have a chance to take photos with a great view of the valley. Proceed to the Masai Mara National Reserve, with lunch in Narok town. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains, famously known for its spectacular wildebeest migration and home to the Big Five - lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, and rhino. On arrival, proceed for an afternoon game drive, tracking various animal species and birds with your driver/guide. You will have dinner and your overnight stay at Miti Mingi Eco Camp.

Day 2

After breakfast, you will depart with picnic lunch boxes for a full-day game viewing in the Masai Mara National Reserve. A Masai Mara safari is an unmissable highlight of any holiday in Kenya. There are breathtaking panoramas in every direction, a vast range of wildlife including the Big Five, and a rich cultural heritage to explore. Kenya’s Masai Mara is, without a doubt, one of the greatest safari destinations in Africa. Between July and October, things get busy in the great migration. Millions of zebra and wildebeest make the perilous crossing across the Masai Mara in search of new grazing territory. In their wake, comes a horde of predators including lion and leopard. Our guide will make sure that you get the best photographic opportunities as well as enrich you with the different amazing cultural practices of the local communities of the Maasai people. You will return to Miti Mingi Eco Camp for dinner and overnight.

Go on an early morning game drive. After breakfast, you will depart the Mara region for Nakuru National Park, with an en-route lunch. You will have scenic views from afar of Mt Longmont and Lake Naivasha on the main highway. Have dinner and overnight at the budget hotel, with self-contained rooms.

Enjoy a full day of game drives in this park which contains swamp grounds in which elephants and hippos bathe in abundance. A variety of plains game, antelopes and birds can also be seen, as well as Mt Kilimanjaro’s peak, if weather conditions permit. We will cater for picnic lunches. Return to overnight at the camp with bed and bedding.

Day 6

After breakfast, proceed for your final game drive in Amboseli National Park. If weather permits, you will see Mount Kilimanjaro. Later, depart from Amboseli to Arusha through the Namanga border for immigration formalities. Show your negative PCR test result and board the shuttle bus to Arusha town, arriving in the afternoon. Our manager will pick you up from the bus stop and drop you off at the hotel, booked on a bed and breakfast basis.

After breakfast, go on a game drive en-route to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro. Afterward, we visit the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world – Serengeti National Park. The word ‘Serengeti’ means ‘endless plains’, which describes the park’s 5,600 square mile boundary. The Serengeti does not disappoint when it comes to rich game-viewing. Annually, from May to December, millions of animals embark on a migration that brings them from Central Serengeti to Kenya’s Masai Mara and back again in an incredible spectacle. Even during the ‘down-time’, vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle roam here, along with groups of elephant, giraffe, and buffalo. As the lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals stalk their prey, we enjoy a picnic lunch in this open arena. You will head for Seronera Camp for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast at around 05:50, descend into the crater at 06:00 for a 6 - 7 hrs game drive with a picnic lunch. We venture onto the crater floor for an up-close look at the residents of this World Heritage Site and enjoy a picnic lunch here. The Ngorongoro Crater provides great game-viewing all year round. The wildlife here makes up a permanent population because grazing and water supplies are plentiful throughout the seasons. In the afternoon, we will drive back to Arusha where we will drop you off at the Charity Hotel.
