After arriving at Livingstone Airport, you will be met by a representative from the lodge and driven the short distance to Chundukwa River Lodge, set on the mighty Zambezi River, just a short distance from the famous Victoria Falls.
Chundukwa is an owner-operated lodge offering river-front chalets and a 3-bedroomed cottage, all with spectacular views over the Zambezi River in Zambia. Our lodge is located opposite the Zambezi National Park and one can hear lions, hyenas, hippos, zebras, and jackals calling regularly. Of course, the hippos will be serenading before bedtime and in the early mornings!
Chundukwa River Lodge is Zambian-inspired, steeped in history, soul, and authenticity, and provides a real Zambezi experience.
Activities include visits to Victoria Falls's UNESCO World Heritage Site, rhino trekking on foot and game drives in the nearby Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park, horse trails for all levels, local village cultural visits, sunrise or sunset river cruises, and family fun!

Day 3-5

After breakfast, you will be taken to Livingstone Airport for your charter flight to Royal Airstrip. From here, you will be picked up by a lodge representative and taken to Baines River Camp.

After breakfast, you will be taken to Royal Airstrip for your onward flight to Mfuwe Airport. From here, you will be collected by a lodge representative and taken to Chikunto Safari Lodge.
Chikunto Safari Lodge is a superb boutique luxury Lodge located on an amazing site within the world-renowned South Luangwa National Park. Recognized as one of Africa's premier national parks and described by many as the 'real Africa'. Known as the 'Valley of the Leopard' and famous for its high density of game and the absence of high-volume game-viewing traffic it is a huge bonus to be based inside the park itself.
Chikunto was built with the assistance of local villagers and has a close bond with the local communities. The game-viewing is likely to be one of the highlights of your stay with day and night drives. To top it off there is an elevated stargazing/sleepout platform will be available with stunning views over the Luangwa River and up to the African sky.
