Kaingo Camp is the flagship, owner-run safari camp of Shenton Safaris, located deep within South Luangwa National Park on the banks of the Luangwa River. The camp is intimate, welcoming and tailored to guests who want classic, close-to-nature safari experiences with an emphasis on big game and photographic opportunities.

Experts have dubbed South Luangwa one of the greatest wildlife sanctuaries in the world. The concentration of game around the Luangwa River and its oxbow lagoons is among the highest in Africa including Elephant, Lion, Buffalo, Giraffe, Hippo and much more.

The park is often called the Valley of the Leopard, as the dense thickets and abundance of plains game create the perfect habitat and naturally, this makes Shenton Safaris an excellent destination for leopard sightings.
