After a safari briefing in the morning and an approximately two-hour drive, you will arrive at Tarangire National Park. Giant baobab trees, bush savannah, and the seasonal marshes add to the wonder of this nature reserve. From the open roof of the safari vehicle you will be able to absorb the landscape and watch the animals. In the late afternoon you will leave the park and drive to the Lake Burunge Tented Camp for your overnight stay.

Day 2
Lake Manyara
Lake Manyara
After breakfast you will travel from the Tarangire area to Lake Manyara National Park. This park is known for its over 400 bird species, primate-filled forests, and grassy plains. A large area of the park is covered by the alkaline Lake Manyara, which is the seasonal breeding grounds for large colonies of flamingos. After an extensive game drive, you will travel to the Kirurumu Manyara Lodge for your overnight stay.

Day 3
Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park
After breakfast you will travel towards the southern Serengeti, reaching the plains of Serengeti National Park at midday. This park is the largest in Tanzania and has a wide variety of habitats and landscapes. The Serengeti is famous for the yearly migration, when hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and zebra trek to find fresh grass and water. You will spend the night at the Kati Kati Tented Camp inside the park.

Day 4
Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park
Today is dedicated to game viewing in Serengeti National Park. The areas that you visit will depend on where the migrating herds are. Predators usually follow closely behind the trekking animals and include lions, leopards (in the acacia trees), and cheetahs. As the migration is completely dependent on the yearly rainfalls, the location of the herds may vary. Not to worry, however, as your guide will know where to locate the animals for the best views.

Day 5
Karatu Region
Karatu Region
You will leave Serengeti National Park in the early afternoon to continue your journey towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As soon as you reach the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater you will see the giant caldera below – a breathtaking view. You will then drive to the Ngorongoro Farm House in Karatu. Here you will go on tour of the nearby coffee plantation to learn more about coffee cultivation and processing.

Day 6
Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater
After an early morning breakfast, you will travel back to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for your game drive in the crater. After an extensive game drive and a picnic lunch, you will leave the caldera in the afternoon and return to the Ngorongoro Farm House to spend another night.
