Day 2

After breakfast take you to airport fly from Dar es Salaam to Selous game reserve, a short flight from Dar es Salaam brings you to one of the largest protected areas left on earth, you will be picked up at the airstrip and taken to Mbuyu safari Camp, with game viewing on the way. Settle in and enjoy lunch at camp before heading out in the afternoon for boat trip.

Day 3

After breakfast in the morning with your lunch boxes enjoy full day game inside the game reserve, The Great Rufiji River and its tributaries are the lifeblood of the reserve, creating a network of forests and woodlands around the lagoons, sandbanks and lakes with tall palm trees adding to the scenic splendour. It is here that the lodges congregate and make the most of the natural viewing that inevitably takes place around the region’s key water source. Because of its size and remoteness, the reserve has over 2,100 species of plants, 350 species of birds, 60,000 elephant, 108,000 buffalos and an estimated 1,300 of the worlds’ roughly 4,000 remaining rare wild dogs.

After breakfast from the lodge enjoy game drive with a professional guide inside the park. This will allow you to have good photographic opportunities and the chance to explore different sections of vast park. Nyerere National Park is the largest in Africa, covering 54,600 square kilometer in the afternoon drive back to the camp for lunch and having 3 hours refreshment before evening boat safari.

Start game moment the plane touches down you might see giraffes, zebra and other parading across the runway, in arrival taken by game drive vehicle with packed hot lunch, There is a possibility of viewing hippos, crocodiles, lions during the game drive,

After breakfast enjoys your full Game drive around ruaha national park It is also Tanzania’s most sizeable elephant haven and home to a wealth of bird species, including kingfishers, plovers, egrets, hornbills and sunbirds. Crocodiles and hippos thrive in the Great Ruaha River, which flows along the sanctuary’s eastern border; animals flock to this water source, presenting an exceptional wildlife spectacle. During afternoon break for Hot Lunch around 1pm, after Lunch proceed with game drive having full game drive and overnight staying in Ikuka Safari Camp.

Day 7

After breakfast from the lodge at sunrise we enjoy a wonderful walking safari and walk for two hours along the Great Ruaha River with two armed rangers. There is a possibility of viewing hippos, crocodiles, lions and lots of other animals that come to drink in the river before fly to Dar es Salaam.
