Day 1-2

You'll arrive into Botswana at Maun Airport and then take a short domestic flight to the Tau Pan Airstrip. Tau Pan Lodge is the first semi-permanent camp inside the Central Kalahari Game Reserve and offers truly incredible views from the elevated ridge of an ancient sand dune (an unusual experience in a land as flat as Botswana). It overlooks the famous Tau Pan, recognised for its stark beauty and remoteness.
Activities offered at Tau Pan include game drives, day trips to the well-known Deception Valley, Sunday, Piper and Passarge Pans, stargazing and nature walks with Bushman trackers. Species that can be found in the Kalahari include oryx, the desert-adapted springbok, jackal, the rare brown hyena, red-crested korhaan and herds of wildebeest.

Day 3-4
Transfer to Okavango Delta

Today, you'll take a light aircraft flight from Tau Pan Airstrip to Pom Pom Camp Airstrip.
Set within a private concession in the Okavango Delta on the boundary of the Moremi Game Reserve, Pom Pom Camp is surrounded by the stunning scenery of the channels and waterways of the delta. Here, you can enjoy great leopard and big cat viewing, bush walks (dependent on season and walking conditions), birding (March to December), private night drives and off-road game drives. You can also have water activities, such as fishing (March to December) and mokoro safaris (water level dependant).

Day 5-6
Transfer to Chobe National Park
Transfer to Chobe National Park
Next, you'll take a short flight to Pom Pom Camp Airstrip to Kasane Airport. You'll then enjoy a road transfer to Chobe Bakwena, bordering Chobe National Park. The park is known for its large herds of elephants and Cape buffalo, which converge along the Chobe Riverfront in the dry months. Lions, antelopes and hippos inhabit the woods and lagoons around Linyanti Marsh; the floodable grasslands of the Savuti Marsh attract numerous bird species and migrating zebras.
The activities from Chobe Bakwena include game drives and Chobe River boat cruises. The optional activities on offer include Namibian village walks, cycling and fishing (additional charges apply).

Sadly, your luxury safari tour of Botswana draws to a close and you'll transfer back to Kasane Airport in plenty of time for your onward flight. However, you'll be leaving with incredible memories of game viewing in some of the country's most iconic wildlife watching destinations, including the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, Okavango Delta and Chobe National Park.
