Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

You will be picked up early morning and head westwards to Fort Portal town lasting about 4 -5 hours with a stopover lunch in Fort Portal and continue to Kibale where you will conduct a guided swamp walk in Bigodi Wetlands which that takes you closer seeing primates mostly monkeys, birds and butterflies which lasts from 2½ – 3 hours. Other primate species include the black-and-white colobus, grey-cheeked mangabey, red-tailed, l’Hoest’s and blue monkeys, and olive baboons. Later check into the hotel for an overnight.

Chimpanzee Tracking and transfer to Entebbe

With an early breakfast, you will be transferred to Kanyanchu Tourist Centre at 08.00 am for a briefing before trekking the chimpanzees in the forest. The park is only accessible on foot and the walk will provide you with the opportunity to also see a variety of other primates and animals as well as birds, and a variety of butterflies, and other insects. You will have lunch and in the afternoon go set off on a return journey to Kampala arriving late in the evening.
