Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your Across the Wild Safaris representative, briefed on your adventure, and driven to Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya’s iconic wildlife destinations. En route, enjoy the scenic landscapes of southern Kenya before arriving at Little Amanya Camp, perfectly located just minutes from the park entrance.

Check in and enjoy lunch at the camp, which offers stunning views of the snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest free-standing mountain, and comfortable accommodations in the heart of the Amboseli ecosystem. After lunch, you can relax and soak in the panoramic surroundings or embark on an afternoon game drive to explore the park’s wildlife.

After breakfast at Little Amanya Camp, depart for Lake Naivasha, traveling through the scenic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley. Arrive at Pelican Lodge for lunch and enjoy some early afternoon relaxation, taking in the tranquil surroundings.

In the late afternoon, embark on a game drive at Lake Naivasha National Park, a birdwatcher’s paradise and one of Kenya’s most beautiful parks. Set in the Great Rift Valley and surrounded by wooded hills and bushy grasslands, the park offers diverse habitats ranging from the shimmering lake to the surrounding escarpments and ridges. Marvel at the spectacular birdlife, including over a million flamingos, pelicans, and more than 400 migratory species. Lake Naivasha also hosts hippos, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife, making it ideal for photography and memorable game viewing.

Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight, enjoying the peaceful lakeside setting and reflecting on the day’s wildlife and scenic highlights.

The Masai Mara, part of the greater Serengeti ecosystem, is famous for Big Five sightings, its rich predator population, and abundant wildlife across vast open savannahs. From July to October, witness the world-renowned Great Migration, as thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles traverse the plains in search of fresh grazing. Its diverse habitats, rolling landscapes, and iconic wildlife make the Mara an unforgettable safari highlight and a must-see destination for any Kenya adventure.

En route, enjoy the scenic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley before arriving for lunch and check-in at Zebra Plains Mara, perfectly situated in the heart of the reserve. After an early breakfast at Zebra Plains Mara, depart for a full-day game drive with a packed lunch, exploring the vast plains of the Masai Mara in search of the Big Five, including lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and rhinos. Enjoy the thrill of spotting predators, herds of wildebeest, zebras, and giraffes in one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife reserves. Return to the camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Alternatively, begin the day with an optional early morning balloon safari (extra cost).
