You'll arrive at Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam. You will be met and transferred by road to Dar es Salaam Domestic Terminal for your 4:30 pm light aircraft flight to Siwandu and land at 5:35 pm, before transferring by bush road to spend 4 nights at the beautiful Siwandu Camp, located inside the game-rich Selous Game Reserve. Sheltered underneath palm trees on the shores of Lake Nzerakera, Siwandu is surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and is home to a large diversity of plants and animals. Selous Game Reserve spans 55,000sq km (four times larger than the Serengeti) and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It’s perfect for safari game viewing and experiencing Africa’s wild animals on spectacular 4x4 game drives. The second part of your trip is set in Ruaha National Park, the largest park in Tanzania. You will be staying at Jongomero Camp, situated under trees, on the banks of a seasonal river in the southern part of Ruaha National Park. It’s beautifully isolated! Ruaha is the largest national park in Tanzania. So, it’s a transition zone between the eastern and southern biomes and home to a diversity of animals and about 570 bird species. Ruaha is also home to one of the greatest populations of elephants and buffalos in Africa, as well as predators and a whole host of other African game in between. You'll enjoy the luxury at Jongomero Camp, from safari game drives to game walks, lunches in a dry riverbed, romantic dinners under the stars and sundowners by the pool. Tanzania is all about romance and serenity.

Day 8
Dar es Salaam
Dar es Salaam
At a time to be confirmed by lodge management, you will be transferred to your light aircraft flight departing at 11:45 am for the Dar es Salaam Domestic Terminal. You will land at 1:50 pm and will transfer by road to Julius Nyerere International Airport (in Dar es Salaam) for your flight back home. As you prepare to board your flight, you’ll have the option to either return home with cherished memories of your trip or continue your African adventure with Greatest Africa.
