Arrival – Transfer to Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be met by our representative, who will escort you to our office in Arusha for a brief safari briefing. During this briefing, we will provide valuable tips and information to enhance your safari experience. We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to ask any questions or address any concerns you may have before the commencement of your safari. Afterwards, you will proceed to the lodge for evening leisure, and overnight.

Fly to Ndutu for Great Migration

After an early breakfast, our representative will pick you up and drive you to Arusha Airport (ARK) in time for your flight to Ndutu. Upon arrival at Ndutu Airstrip, you will meet your safari guide who will collect you for an exciting game drive tracking the wildebeest migration and other exotic wildlife.

Lake Ndutu game area, which is located in the Ngorongoro conservation area, forms part of the southern Serengeti and Ngorongoro ecosystem. Lake Ndutu is an alkaline lake, like many other Rift Lakes. However, the water is still drinkable and is used by a variety of local wildlife. Since Ndutu is home to cheetahs and other cats, you will enjoy a more private game drive off the main roads, with opportunities to get quite close to the wildlife.

Your day will be dedicated to tracking the Wildebeest Migration and other wildlife, including cheetahs, lions, leopards, and more. Later on, you will head for your lodging for evening leisure, dinner, and overnight.

Great Migration & Calving Season

Today is dedicated to seeing the best of Ndutu. Mornings and evenings are always the best time to view animals! During game drives, you will be able to see abundant wild animals and see the fertile plains turn into calving grounds and a nursery for the great migration, as well as hordes of predators preying on vulnerable young wildebeest.

After a rewarding day, you will drive back to your beautiful lodging for evening leisure, dinner, and overnight.

Ngorongoro Crater Tour

Following breakfast, you will depart with your warm packed lunch for a game viewing excursion on the crater floor at Ngorongoro Crater. Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest volcano caldera, formed three million years ago, and is considered one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the world and one of Africa's most remarkable geological sites.

The crater has a unique ecosystem that is inhabited by more than 25,000 resident animals. In the grass steppes and acacia forest you can encounter almost every animal species of the East African savanna, including the “Big Five” (rhino, elephant, Cape buffalo, lion, leopard).

In the evening, you will ascend the crater and proceed to your lodging located in Karatu for evening leisure, dinner, and overnight.
