Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, the tour departs between 08:30 - 09:00.
First stop is Arusha Town for any last minute purchases before we head off on safari. Afterwards we head to Tarangire National Park, for a game drive with picnic lunch at the park. Tarangire National Park is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. It forms the centre of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest and 30,000 zebras. Dinner and overnight at public Campsite.

Lake Manyara National Park to Lake Eyasi

Departure from campsite between 08:00 - 09:00 hours, afterwards we head to Lake Manyara. Lake Manyara National Park offers breathtaking views and a large variety of habitats. Acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps and the lake itself. And thanks to this, the small Park is able to support a large number of animal species and incredible bird life. Manyara has the largest concentration of baboons anywhere in the world and the lions here are also renowned for their tree climbing. Dinner and overnight at Lake Eyasi public campsite.

Lake Eyasi village to Central Serengeti

Early in the morning, enjoy a unique hunting experience with the Hadzabe (Bushmen), learning their traditional survival skills at Lake Eyasi. After this cultural encounter, depart for the Central Serengeti, driving through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area en route.

Upon arrival in the Serengeti, enjoy a game drive across the vast central plains, home to an incredible concentration of wildlife. The area is well known for its resident populations of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, giraffe, eland, warthog, and large herds of elephants. Central Serengeti is also famous for its high density of predators, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals. With a bit of luck and a trained eye, you may spot the elusive leopard resting in the acacia trees.

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. Then heard to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. Early start as you gather in your safari vehicle for a sunrise game drive, the ideal time to observe the Serengeti’s wildlife at their most active. The game drive continues until midday, offering further opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography. After lunch, depart the Serengeti and drive through the breath-taking Ngorongoro Highlands. In the evening, arrive at your lodge on the Ngorongoro Crater rim, where a sumptuous dinner and a restful overnight stay await, allowing you to soak in the spectacular views and tranquillity of this remarkable setting.
