This exceptional park, just south of Lake Manyara in the northern region of Tanzania, is famous for its diverse landscape characterized by the abundance of ancient baobab trees and its vast herds of elephants. In fact, the park has the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country and provides unique chances to observe them up close, something that should not be missed. Big cat sightings are frequent and in the dry season, the Tarangire River is an important water source that makes it the perfect place to spot wildlife. Lunch will be taken at a picnic place with an amazing view of the Tarangire River. After more game viewing in the park, you will be driven to your accommodation for dinner and your overnight stay.

Although small in dimension (205sq miles), the park has breathtaking scenery and well famous for its lush acacia forest, giant figs and mahogany trees, as well as its tree-climbing lions. The lake is also home to a large number of hippos and an iconic population of flamingos. The game drive along the lake will provide you stunning photo opportunities. Ngorongoro Crater

We will start the day very early in the morning to experience a morning of wildlife in one of the most stunning places on Earth. Now classed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ngorongoro Crater is considered one the wonders of the Natural World. Formed two million years ago when a large volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself, now the crater spreads for 102sq miles and has 2,000ft high walls. It is a proper Noah's ark where there are almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa. The concentration of wildlife is the greatest in the continent and it's one of the very rare locations where you can witness the black rhino. Lunch will be taken at a picnic place near the beautiful hippo lake and in the afternoon, you will continue your tour, ascend the crater and exit the Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards Arusha. We expect to be back in town at around 6:00 pm although we are flexible in case there is a flight to catch or another situation.
