The day will be spent on game viewing in the game reserve and in the evening, you will go on a boat safari for 2 to 3 hours. The safari guide points out rare species of animals like wild dog, sable antelope, black rhinoceros, Nile crocodile, Cape buffalo, hartebeest, eland, and hippopotamus along the banks of the Rufiji River. A picnic lunch and drinks will be served in the wilderness before heading back to Africa Safari Hotel for dinner and overnight. Fall asleep to the gentle grunting of the camp.
Boat safaris are also the best excursions for bird enthusiasts. Walking safaris are a fantastic way to get close to nature and learn more about the smaller species and the bush itself. It's an unforgettable experience to walk within such a vast and untamed area of natural reserve. The walk takes about 2 to 3 hours and usually leaves the camp between 6:00 and 6:30 am.
