Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Silver meet and greet at your Nairobi Hotel as early as 07:30 am. Together with our knowledgeable driver guide, depart the green city under the sun for a 3 to 4-hour drive to Amboseli National Park. Arrive in good time for an early lunch and perhaps a siesta at the selected accommodation booked on a full board basis.
You are scheduled for an afternoon game viewing in this park as early as 14:00 hr until 18:00 hrs. This will mark your introduction to game viewing in this park.
Elephants: Known as the "Home of the African Elephant," Amboseli hosts large herds, allowing for incredible close-up viewing and research, with some populations being the best-known globally.
Mount Kilimanjaro: The majestic backdrop of Africa's highest peak provides a stunning, picture-perfect setting for wildlife photography, especially at sunrise.
Big Four: Visitors can spot lions, leopards, buffalo, and elephants.
Birdlife: Home to over 400 bird species, making it a paradise for birdwatchers.

Amboseli National Park

The day begins with a full, nutritious breakfast.
The park is at its best in the morning hours when animals are most active in the cooler hours, predators are returning from night hunts, herbivores are grazing, and the soft, golden sunrise light offers stunning photographic opportunities, often with the iconic Mt. Kilimanjaro as a backdrop, plus less dust and more visible wildlife before the heat sets in.
Late in the afternoon, return to the lodge for a hot lunch and relaxation as we all wait for the scheduled afternoon game viewing, which is also stunning.
Amboseli National Park is famous for its iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro, vast herds of free-ranging elephants, diverse wildlife (including the Big Five), abundant birdlife (over 400 species), and rich Maasai culture, offering unique opportunities for photography and close wildlife encounters in varied habitats from savannahs to wetlands.
The rest of the evening will end at the selected accommodation on a full board basis.

This day, soon after breakfast, exit Amboseli for a 3 to 4 hr drive to Nairobi Airport in good time for your scheduled outbound flight.
