Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park & an Evening Game Drive
After an early breakfast, our driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel at 7:00 am. He will brief you about your 3-day safari to Murchison Falls. You will start your 6-hour journey to Murchison Falls National Park. You'll depart Kampala and drive northwards along the Kampala-Gulu highway through the undulating and sometimes flat landscape of Luwero and Nakasongola Districts. You'll stop over at Kabalega Diners on the highway for lunch. After lunch, you'll proceed through the Kafu River, which is the divide between Kampala and the Great North.
You'll arrive at Murchison Falls National Park and check in at Fort Murchison. After a mid-afternoon relaxation, you can opt for an evening game drive. The evening is a relaxed day for a fireplace and seeing the African sunset as you welcome the moon on the horizon.
Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Fort Murchison Lodge.

Day 2
Morning Game Drive and a Boat Cruise along the Nile
Morning Game Drive and a Boat Cruise along the Nile
On this day, you'll wake up early and have breakfast, after your driver and the ranger guide pick you up from the lodge to start your Game drive at 7:00 am. During the drive, you will be in a position to see many animals such as lions, buffalo, giraffes, elephants, antelopes, waterbucks, and birds, among others. After the game drive at around 11:40 am, you'll drive back to the lodge, relax/freshen up, and have lunch as you prepare for the afternoon boat cruise.
On the boat you will be able to see various Nile crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, elephants along the banks of the Nile as well as different beautiful birds, some singing in the trees, such as the bee eaters, the colored kingfishers, the shoebill stork, and many others. The boat ride will take you to the base/bottom of the Murchison Falls, when you reach here you will be able to see clearly the mighty waterfalls. You could opt to go hiking to the top, where you will meet your driver-guide, who will drive you back to the lodge.

Day 3
Chimpanzee Tracking & Transfer to Kampala

You'll enjoy your breakfast, and you will then begin the trails through Kaniyo Pabidi forest, which will allow you to track chimpanzees and other primates. For the bird lovers, the bird life is simply spectacular. Due to the diversity in habitats, the tick list reaches over 450 species, with the shoebill stork remaining a favorite for many. You could chance on some rare species like the yellow-footed flycatcher, white thin hornbill, and ituri batis.
After chimpanzee trekking, you'll depart for Kampala with lunch en route, arriving in the evening.
