After breakfast, you will journey to the legendary Great Zimbabwe Monuments, arriving around midday for lunch, followed by an enriching afternoon guided tour. This remarkable medieval stone city—dramatically set in the hills near Masvingo—is one of Africa’s greatest architectural wonders. Once the royal capital of the Kingdom of Zimbabwe, Great Zimbabwe flourished between the 11th and 15th centuries and is believed to have housed up to 20,000 people at its peak.
As you explore its towering stone walls, intricate passageways, and sacred enclosures, you will gain insight into the advanced craftsmanship, culture, and influence of the ancient civilisation from which modern Zimbabwe takes its name.
In the evening, unwind at The Ancient City Lodge (or similar), set near the monuments, where dinner and overnight accommodation complete your immersive historical experience.

You will depart early for Matobo Hills National Park, located near Bulawayo, approximately 250 km west of Great Zimbabwe. Upon arrival in the afternoon, you will embark on a game drive, offering your first taste of an authentic African wildlife safari.
Matobo National Park is home to a remarkable variety of wildlife, including 175 bird species, 88 mammals, 39 snakes, and 16 fish species. Animals you may encounter include white rhinos, sable antelopes, impalas, and leopards. The park has been restocked with both white and black rhinos and is designated as an Intensive Protection Zone, supporting species such as hyenas, hippopotamuses, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and ostriches.
This park provides a unique opportunity to observe rhinos in their natural habitat and possibly catch a glimpse of the shy and elusive African leopard.
You will spend the night at Matopo Hills Lodge (or similar accommodation), with dinner and breakfast included.

Matobo National Park is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including Africa’s largest concentration of leopards—a major attraction in the park—alongside the intensely protected highest population of black and white rhinos.
Elsewhere in the park, more commonly seen animals include bushbuck, impala, kudu, giraffe, lion, baboon, monkeys, and others. Dassies (rock hyrax) are very common, and the high density of leopards adds to the park’s unique appeal.
On this day, we will visit the World Viewpoint—the highest point of the Matobo Hills—and explore the famous rock art paintings in the morning, followed by another game-viewing safari in the afternoon.
Overnight accommodations will be at Matobo Hills Lodge (or similar), including dinner and breakfast.

After a hearty breakfast, we will set off for the iconic Hwange National Park, arriving at the elegant Hwange Safari Lodge around 1:00 PM—perfect timing for a relaxing lunch.
In the afternoon, you will embark on a thrilling game drive within the lodge’s private estate, which flows seamlessly into Hwange National Park itself, with no fences to separate you from the wild. Here, the savannah comes alive, and late afternoons are prime time for spotting predators as they emerge from the shadows. Keep your camera ready—lions, leopards, and other majestic wildlife are often seen during these drives.
As the sun sets, return to the lodge for a delicious dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African bush.

After breakfast, you will be picked up for a full day of game viewing in Hwange National Park. A picnic lunch and refreshments, including bottled water and soft drinks, will be provided throughout the day. Lunch will be enjoyed at one of the park’s scenic viewing platforms before returning to the lodge around 4:00 PM.
Hwange National Park is world-famous for its elephants, boasting one of the largest populations on the planet, with over 65,000 elephants roaming the park. During the dry season, these gentle giants often gather at the water points in the afternoons, creating unforgettable moments with wildlife. In addition to elephants, you may encounter lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffalo, impalas, kudus, sables, elands, waterbucks, zebras, giraffes, baboons, warthogs, and many more fascinating creatures.
Dinner and an overnight stay will be at Hwange Safari Lodge, with breakfast included for the following morning.

Today, you’ll set out once more into this vast, untamed landscape, eyes peeled for your favourite animals and birds, and perhaps discovering hidden gems among the lesser-known species. On a truly exceptional day, you may return to the lodge with a sense of quiet satisfaction, having witnessed the park in all its glory.
As the sun sets, enjoy a delicious dinner and a restful night at Hwange Safari Lodge, surrounded by the sounds of the African bush.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Victoria Falls in air-conditioned vans for a two-hour trip. Upon arrival, you will check into A`Zambezi River Lodge and begin a guided tour of Victoria Falls. The tour will involve a 2-kilometre walk that lasts approximately two hours. During the tour, you will see the impressive baobab trees in Victoria Falls National Park and also have the opportunity to visit the curio market for gift shopping. Raincoats, mineral water, and return transfers are included.
At 4:00 PM, you will be transferred to the jetty for a relaxing sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. Enjoy a sundowner and snacks while taking in the breathtaking views along the riverbanks. Be sure to have your camera ready to capture one of Africa's stunning sunsets. The 2-hour boat trip includes all drinks, snacks, and return transfers. You can expect to be back at the hotel by around 7:00 PM.
