Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire Park

After breakfast, our safari guide will pick you up from airport or your hotel and proceed to Tarangire National Park for game viewing and a picnic lunch.

The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses through the park, which is the only source of water for the wild animals here during the dry season. The park is famous for its large numbers of elephants, baobab trees, and tree climbing African pythons. Later drive to the lodge for overnight.

Day 2

After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park for game driving and a picnic lunch.

This small but scenic park covers an area of only 330 sq km (127 sq miles), of which up to 200 sq km (77 sq miles) is made up of the lake when water levels are high. Lake Manyara is an excellent place for bird watching and a good area to find elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, buffalos, and maybe even a legendary tree-climbing lion! At some point during your game drive, you should get off your vehicle at the hippo pool to stretch your legs and observe the hippos here. Later drive to the lodge for overnight.

Day 3

Manyara to Ngorongoro Crater to Central Serengeti

After breakfast, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater for game viewing and a picnic lunch.

This park is one of the most densely crowded wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals. The crater is often called “Africa’s Eden” and is also considered the eighth Natural wonder of the World. A visit to this amazing place is the main draw for tourists coming to Tanzania and undoubtedly a world-class attraction.

Later we proceed to Central Serengeti for your overnight stay.

Within the crater rim, large herds of zebra and wildebeest graze will lions sleep and laze in the sun nearby. At dawn, the endangered black rhino will return to the thick cover of the crater forests after grazing on the dew-laden grass in the morning mist. Just outside the crater’s ridge, tall Maasai herd their cattle and goats over green pasture and through highland slopes. They live alongside the wildlife here as they have done for centuries.

After breakfast, we continue exploring Serengeti moving north to Lobo, Bologonya, and Mara regions looking for the Great Migration. We explore here for these 2 days and enjoy game drives.

In Lobo, Bologonya, and Mara regions in North Serengeti, we can spot the Great Migration during summer (July to October), the herds move north and aggregate before crossing the Mara River that's full of big crocodiles.

Today you will enjoy an early morning game drive in Northern Serengeti Park, then transfer to Kogatende Airstrip where you fly to Zanzibar. Our driver guide will be waiting for you in Zanzibar for a private transfer to your beach resort. The activities for today include a game drive and a transfer.
