Day 1

Our driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel and set off for Murchison Falls National Park. The park is home to the highest concentration of birds and animals - which include 4 of the Big 5 game. A game drive in the park offers you close encounters with numerous animals including giraffes, buffalos, lions, leopards, elephants, Uganda kobs, and eland among others.

Enjoy a hike to the top of Murchison Falls as well as a launch cruise to the bottom of the falls for spectacular views. Stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola for rhino tracking. You will then embark on the drive to Murchison Falls National Park, arriving in the evening. Drive to the top of the falls for spectacular views of the mighty falls and its thunderous roar. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Pakuba Safari Lodge.

Day 2

Game Drive, Launch Cruise & Departure

You'll wake up early and go for an early morning game drive on the open plains of the park. Look for animals grazing and hunting in the open savannah before retiring for the rest of the day. The animals you will see include elephant, buffalo, giraffe, hippo, lion, leopard, waterbuck, Uganda kob, eland, Jackson’s hartebeest, and warthog among others.

After lunch, you embark on a launch cruise to the bottom of the mighty Murchison Falls. Enjoy scenic views of the falls, and see aquatic animals like crocodiles and hippos among others. There are also many bird species on the banks of the river. Afterward, drive to Budongo Forest Lodge for your overnight stay.

The forest has 6 groups of chimpanzees. The tracking starts at 7:00 am as you are led by a ranger guide to look for these amazing primates that share a DNA of about 98% with human beings. During the tracking, you will also see various animal species such as monkeys, snakes, and many birds, as well as tree species like mahogany. Afterward, transfer to Kampala for an overnight stay.

Day 4

Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi Close to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You'll have a morning drive to Lake Bunyonyi close to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, southwest of Uganda. You will spend about 7 to 9 hours driving via stunning countryside along the Kampala/Masaka route. You'll be on a tarmac road for about 77 kilometres and you will make a stopover at the equator crossing in Kayabwe. Here, you will have the opportunity to take many photos and also to refresh. You can also pay a visit to one of the craft shops to purchase some locally-made craft products as souvenirs. You will enjoy the spectacular landscape along the way.

You'll make another stopover for lunch at the Agip Motel or the Igongo Cultural Centre where you will have a chance to taste the traditional dishes or explore the rich Ankole culture. You then proceed for your dream adventure in Bwindi National Park and the Kabale/Lake Bunyonyi area known as the "Switzerland of Africa". Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Lake Bunyonyi View Resort.

After breakfast, you will embark on the long-awaited gorilla-trekking experience in either Mgahinga or Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. These parks are home to half of the existing gorilla population in the world. After this once-in-a-lifetime experience, you will have lunch and then head for the Batwa experience in Karengerere. Your guide will take you to the top of the hills to take in the spectacular view of Lake Bunyonyi. Later in the evening, you will return to the resort for dinner and your overnight stay at Bunyonyi View Resort.

Drive Back to the Airport

After breakfast, you will check out and drive back to Kampala. You will have lunch along the way, stopping at the equator for the chance to take some breathtaking pictures, shopping, and maybe try a Ugandan Rolex. Upon arrival in Kampala, you will be dropped off at Entebbe International Airport. This is where your safari will end.
