Day 1

Program: On your arrival Kilimanjaro Airport you will meet with your safari guide after a brief introduction we will proceed to Tarangire National Park for game viewing with a picnic lunch, After game drive we will drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses through the park, which is the only source of water for the wild animals here during the dry season. The park is famous for its large numbers of elephants, baobab trees and tree climbing African pythons.

Day 2

Karatu - Ngorongoro Crater

Program: After breakfast early in the morning we will drive up to the gates of ngorongoro conservation area will drop inside the crater where you will be able to see a lot of animals living within the crater.

The crater is world largest caldera which was formed after the explosion which occurred approximately 2-3 million years ago, the crater floor is 1,800 meters (5,900 feet) above sea level, the area has around 30,000 animals and a great variety of birds.

Day 3

Karatu - Lake Eyasi

Program: After breakfast our guide will pick you from your hotel/lodge and then drive to Lake Eyasi, here you will learn culture and tradition of Hadzabe people, where you will be able to observe different cultural practices, after you will be able to take a walk around the lake, then after we will drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Program: After breakfast our guide will pick you from your hotel/lodge and then drive to Mto wa mbu a small tourist town dominated by different ethnic groups from Tanzania, you will be able to meet with local people at mto wa mbu and buy some local handcraft to support the local community, later we will have lunch in a local typical restaurant to enjoy African cuisine.

Day 5

Karatu – Manyara - Airport

Karatu – Manyara - Airport

Program: After breakfast our safari guide will pick you from your hotel/lodge and then proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for game viewing with picnic lunch, after game drive transfer to Arusha/Kilimanjaro airport where the safari will end.

Manyara Park covers an area of only 330 sq km (127 sq miles), of which up to 200 sq km (77 sq miles) is made up of the lake when water levels are high. Lake Manyara is an excellent place for bird watching and a good area to find elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, buffalos and maybe even a legendary tree-climbing lion!. At some point during your game drive you should get off your vehicle at the hippo pool to stretch your legs and observe the hippos here.
