After breakfast, you'll meet your professional guide and depart for Tarangire National Park. The drive is scenic, passing through Maasai land and cultivated farms. Tarangire is famous for its massive herds of elephants, ancient baobab trees, and the Tarangire River which acts as a lifeline, drawing animals during the dry season. You'll enjoy a full day of game drives, spotting elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and a huge variety of birds.

Day 2
Tarangire to Lake Ndutu/Southern Serengeti
Tarangire to Lake Ndutu/Southern Serengeti
An early start to drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Southern Serengeti plains around Lake Ndutu. This area is the heart of the calving season for the Great Migration (typically late January to March). Thousands of wildebeest give birth here, attracting an abundance of predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. Even outside calving season, the area is rich with resident game. You'll do game drives en-route and around Lake Ndutu itself.

Day 3
Lake ndutu to Serengeti National Park
Lake ndutu to Serengeti National Park
After a possible early morning game drive around Ndutu to catch the predators at their most active, you'll embark on a game drive northwards into the heart of the Serengeti National Park. The drive itself is a safari, crossing the vast, endless plains that give the Serengeti its name (from the Maa word "Siringet"). You will arrive at your central Serengeti lodge in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive in this iconic, predator-rich region.
Serengeti Kati Kati Tented Camp: A permanent camp that offers an authentic safari experience. It's small and intimate, with 10 tents set up in the middle of the plains. It has a classic "out of Africa" feel with comfortable beds and ensuite bush bathrooms. The central mess tent is where meals and stories are shared.

Full day game drives in the Serengeti, home to the greatest concentration of large mammals on earth. Non-migratory species include large prides of lions, solitary leopards, cheetah and graceful impala. The landscape is characterized by vast stretches of open plains, punctuated by kopjes, rock formations that have survived from the Pre-Cambrian period, and open woodlands. After a sumptuous dinner, relax by the campfire, under a canopy of star.

Day 5
Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Enjoy one last morning game drive in the Serengeti, perhaps heading out at sunrise when predators are most active, you begin your journey back towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You'll game drive en-route to the exit gate. The drive up to the crater rim offers stunning panoramic views. You will then continue to the charming town of Karatu, the agricultural hub on the edge of the Ngorongoro highlands.
Tloma Lodge: This is a beautiful and peaceful lodge set amidst a thriving coffee plantation. The property consists of individual bungalows styled after traditional Iraqi homesteads, each with a sitting area, fireplace, and a private veranda overlooking the lush gardens and coffee fields. The lodge offers a large swimming pool, exceptionally friendly service, and a tranquil atmosphere. It's a perfect place to relax after the dust of the Serengeti. The food is fantastic, often featuring produce from their own garden.

Day 6
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
This is the grand finale. You descend 600 meters down the steep crater walls into the world's largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera. The crater is a natural enclosure for over 25,000 large animals, including the rare black rhino, making it the best place in East Africa to see the Big Five. You'll enjoy a spectacular morning of game viewing on the crater floor, followed by a picnic lunch by the hippo pool. After an unforgettable half-day, you ascend the crater and begin your journey back to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at Arusha Airport (ARK) or Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO) for your departure.
