Day 1

Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

In the early morning, you will be picked up from your Nairobi area accommodations and transferred to our office to meet other tourists and be introduced to your driver-guide. You’ll start the budget safari with a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to admire the escarpment wall. Descend the escarpment and drive to Narok Town for an early lunch at a local restaurant and then stop the large Narok shopping mall to purchase any items you may need for the wilderness. Continue to Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving at the campsite in the late afternoon. After a short siesta, embark on your first game drive, exploring the savanna grasslands in search of Africa’s iconic wildlife for up-close encounters. Return to the campsite for dinner, a bonfire, and your overnight stay.

Day 2

Enjoy an early morning breakfast at the campsite, then depart for a full day in Masai Mara Game Reserve. Safari drives with packed lunches allow for extensive exploration of this remarkable reserve. Masai Mara, while not vast, hosts many wild animal species, offering an exceptional Kenya wildlife adventure. Expect to see lions, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, hippopotamus, crocodiles, hyenas, antelopes, gazelles, waterbucks, and topi, among others. Pause for a picnic lunch near the Mara River, then continue your safari, enjoying close encounters with wildlife and capturing unforgettable moments as you traverse the reserve. By 17:00, you’ll leave the game reserve for an optional activity. You’ll either visit a Maasai village, take a nature walk, or simply relax at the campsite. Later, enjoy dinner and a bonfire before retiring to your tents for the night.

Start the day with an early visit to the Maasai people for an exclusive cultural experience. Learn about their way of life, social interactions, and connections with neighboring communities. In the Maasai village you’ll enjoy traditional dances, view their homes, and gain insight into their daily activities. After the visit, check out and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, stopping for a hot lunch en route. Arrive at your Nakuru hotel in the early evening, check in, and spend the evening at your leisure. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the hotel.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park for a thrilling four-hour game drive. Lake Nakuru is renowned for bird watching, with a wide variety of species recorded in the area. Visit the Rhino Sanctuary to see both black and white rhinoceroses, then enjoy the game drive with sightings of buffalo, leopards, lions, baboons at Baboon Cliff, antelopes, impalas, zebras, giraffes, and more. By 10:00–10:30 hrs, you’ll exit Lake Nakuru National Park and drive toward Amboseli National Park, stopping for lunch along the way. Arrive at the camp before sunset for check-in, dinner, and your overnight stay.

Enjoy an eight-hour game drive across the Amboseli plains, Amboseli viewpoint, and the swampy areas where wildlife gathers. The swamps attract animals seeking water, and elephants bathe and graze in abundance. The exciting game drive concludes in the late evening, leaving you with unforgettable safari memories. Return to the camp for optional activities, then enjoy dinner and a bonfire with fellow tourists before overnighting at the same campsite.
