Transfer from Kampala/Entebbe city to Kisoro

Our guide will pick you up from the hotel after breakfast with a warm welcome. He will depart from Kampala and drive you via the western route where you will see the beautiful nature of Uganda. You will have a stopover at the equator in Kayabwe for photos. Continue to drive up to Mbarara and have another stop at the Igongo Cultural Center for snacks, food or refreshments.

In the evening, you will arrive in Kisoro - where gold meets silver. Check in at your booked hotel for your overnight stay as you await the gorilla-trekking activity the next day.

Gorilla and golden monkey trekking in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

Wake up early in the morning with a cup of coffee and breakfast. You will take the Mgahinga route and meet the park rangers who will help you track the gorillas in their natural habitat. You can also look out for the golden monkeys. There is a lot of flora within the forest, and the number of bird species will also surprise you with their beautiful sounds, especially in the morning.

In the afternoon after lunch, you have time to relax. Later, you will go for a nature walk where you will visit the Batwa. Visiting the Batwa trails will reward you with amazing history and entertainment.

Return to Kampala/Entebbe for your flight

You will wake up early in the morning with a cup of coffee. Go on a visit to Lake Mutanda where you will hear and see beautiful birds who welcome you to their habitat.

After the boat ride, you embark on your return to Kampala where you will first go to the hotel and have lunch. You will then be transferred back to Kampala by our driver.
