Among the predators are lions, leopards and large pythons hiding in the dense woodlands which may occasionally be seen crossing roads or dangling from trees. Other game includes Thomson’s and Grant's gazelle, the long-eared leaf-nosed bat, colobus monkey, rock hyrax, hippo, waterbuck, impala, striped hyena, bat-eared fox, wildcat, reedbuck and golden cat. Masai Mara Game Reserve - Sarova Mara Game Camp

You have a full day to spend exploring the park in search of the Big 5. An optional hot-air balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$450 per person.

Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe that over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, buffalos, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, leopards, many kinds of antelopes, and elephants. Mara is where the most spectacular event in the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from Serengeti in Tanzania in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savannah - lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena, and vultures. An optional visit to a local Maasai village at a cost of US$35 per person is not included in the price. All meals and overnight at Sarova Mara Game Camp.
