Day 1

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or residence in Mombasa (We can also organize pick up from Malindi at an extra cost) Drive inland through changing coastal and savannah landscapes toward Tsavo West National Park, one of Kenya’s most scenic national parks, renowned for its rugged terrain, volcanic hills, lava flows and diverse wildlife.
Arrive at your camp in time for lunch and a short period of relaxation. In the afternoon, set out on your first game drive in search of elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and numerous antelope species. Depending on time, you may also visit Mzima Springs, where crystal-clear waters attract hippos, crocodiles and a variety of birdlife. Return to the lodge as the sun sets over the wilderness.

After an early breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Tsavo West National Park as the park comes to life. Keep an eye out for elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes and a variety of bird species against the backdrop of dramatic volcanic scenery.
Depart Tsavo West and journey toward Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch at your camp. Amboseli is one of Kenya’s most iconic safari destinations, celebrated for its large elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. In the afternoon, head out for a game drive across the park’s open plains, swamps, and acacia woodlands. You may encounter elephants, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and a rich variety of birdlife, all set against the majestic backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Full Day at Amboseli National Park

You will have a full day in Amboseli National Park. For guests seeking an even more memorable experience, an optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged in the early mornings at an additional cost. Drift silently above the park at sunrise and enjoy breathtaking aerial views of the wildlife and the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, followed by a bush breakfast. You can also opt to sleep in, have your breakfast, then depart for a full day game viewing drive with packed lunch. Dinner and Overnight at your lodge. Or after your breakfast, you can go for a mid-morning game drive and back to the lodge for a hot lunch. Have a brief game viewing drive and later visit Masai Village to have a firsthand experience on the masai way of life. Dinner and Overnight at your lodge.

Enjoy an early morning game drive in Amboseli National Park, when wildlife is most active and the views of Mount Kilimanjaro are often at their clearest. Return to the lodge for breakfast, then check out and begin your scenic drive to the Kenyan coast. Travel to Mombasa or Malindi, arriving later in the day for drop-off at your beach resort. From here, you may choose to continue with a relaxing stay along the coast, enjoying the white-sand beaches of destinations such as Diani Beach, Watamu Beach or Malindi or proceed with your onward travel arrangements. This marks the end of your unforgettable safari through two of Kenya’s most iconic wildlife destinations.
