Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve

Your driver and guide will meet you at your hotel in Nairobi for an exciting safari adventure. After a brief introduction, you'll head to the stunning Maasai Mara National Reserve.

The drive takes you through the picturesque Great Rift Valley, offering scenic views of rolling hills and vibrant local communities. There will be stops along the way for photographs of landmarks such as the Great Rift Valley escarpment.
Upon arrival at the Maasai Mara, you'll check in and enjoy a delicious lunch featuring both local and international cuisine.

Then, embark on an afternoon game drive in the renowned reserve, famous for the Great Wildebeest Migration. With your expert guide, you'll have the opportunity to spot a diverse range of wildlife, including lions, leopards, giraffes, buffalo, cheetahs, and elephants.

Begin your day with a hearty early morning breakfast, energizing you for an exhilarating full day of game viewing in one of Africa's most celebrated wildlife destinations.

The Masai Mara Game Reserve is home to the Big Five, and it is renowned for being one of the most dynamic wildlife ecosystems on the planet. It boasts the highest concentration of large mammals and a diverse range of ecosystems, from savannahs and woodlands to riverine forests, making it a prime destination for wildlife enthusiasts.
You'll enjoy your picnic lunch along the Mara River or the Masai Mara Savannah. Depending on the season, you might also get the chance to witness the spectacular Great Migration, where millions of wildebeests and zebras traverse the plains in search of fresh grazing pastures, typically occurring from July to October.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast, followed by check-out. Afterward, you'll embark on a visit to a Masai village, where you can immerse yourself in the rich culture and traditions of the Masai people. This experience includes the opportunity to engage in traditional singing and dancing, allowing you to connect with the community and gain a deeper understanding of their way of life.

Later, embark on your journey to Lake Nakuru National Park. You'll arrive in time for check-in, have lunch, and then have some rest. Later in the afternoon, enjoy game drives at Lake Nakuru National Park later in the afternoon. The park boasts an abundance of wildlife and spectacular landscapes. Think of black and white rhinos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hippos occupying euphorbia forests, acacia woodlands, savannah grasslands, and rocky escarpments around a shallow, alkaline lake.

Later in the evening, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After a delightful breakfast, you will be picked up from your lodge and embark on a full-day exhilarating adventure to the breathtaking plains of Amboseli.

In Amboseli, you'll have the opportunity to spot lions and cheetahs as they gracefully navigate their natural habitat. You'll witness the awe-inspiring sight of large herds of elephants making their way across the plains, often coming surprisingly close to your vehicle. As you explore, you'll have the opportunity to observe over 80 different mammal species and more than 400 species of birds, each adding to the vibrant tapestry of life in Amboseli.

After an early breakfast, you will check out of the hotel. Be sure to adhere to the timelines to arrive at Emali Train Station on time to board the Madaraka Intercounty SGR Train. The Madaraka Intercounty SGR Train makes scheduled stops at Mombasa's train terminus. The SGR ride from Emali lasts approximately 4 hours, reaching the Mombasa terminus at 2:10pm.

A driver will be waiting to pick you up from the train station for the onward transfer to Baobab Beach Resort.

After checking in at Baobab Beach Resort and freshening up, you can lounge by the poolside or at the beach bar and sample the various drinks included in your all-inclusive package.

Your dinner and overnight stay are at the hotel.

You'll enjoy your breakfast and spend the whole day relaxing at the Baobab Beach Resort, set on the most beautiful, unspoiled, crystal-white sandy beaches on the south coast of Kenya. The expansive compound is shaded by coconut palm and many exotic tropical trees & flowers; the resort offers the ultimate tropical paradise. Animal life abounds in the compound, and various varieties of monkeys can be seen jumping around in the vicinity.

You'll enjoy your lunch and later proceed to the beach for swimming.

Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park on the Pilli Pipa Dhow

You will be picked up from the hotel at 7:00 am to board the Pilli Pipa dhow cruise at Wasini Island. The cruise features a light breakfast, a seafood lunch, and unlimited drinks.

Enjoy Kenyan coffee and tea while watching dolphins, turtles, whale sharks, and humpback whales during the dhow cruise. Life jackets, snorkeling gear, and on-the-water assistance from snorkeling guides are all available upon request. In addition, two snorkeling stops allow you to observe the diverse water species that inhabit these coral reefs, including enormous shoals of fish, moray eels, and stingrays.

A seafood lunch awaits at Wasini Island. Lunch consists of fresh crab and fish, served with a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Other food options are available to those guests with specific dietary requirements. After the meal, you can relax by the beach or garden before returning to shore.

The driver will meet you at approximately 6:00 pm for your transfer back to the hotel.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Ukunda Airport, where you will take a connecting flight to Nairobi's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

Suppose your outbound flight only departs late in the evening; we can arrange for a late check-out from Baobab Beach Resort. You will fly to JKIA with enough time for check-in (usually leave around 3-4 hours for this activity).
