Departure takes place from OR Tambo International Airport by shuttle to Khaya Ndlovu Manor House in the Rietspruit Big Game Reserve, a stone throw from the wildlife town of Hoedspruit. It's on the doorstep of Kruger, with a breathtaking backdrop of the Drakensburg Mountains.
Khaya Ndlovu offers luxurious accommodation, with a swimming pool, bar and lounge, day spa and a dining area under the trees exuding a luxurious and exotic ambience.
After check-in and lunch, head out on a sunset safari under the guidance of knowledgeable guides. Safaris take place on the Rietspruit Big Game Reserve. The reserve boasts sprawling vistas of the Drakensburg Mountains, where you can expect to encounter lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and a host of general game such as giraffe, zebra and various antelope.
After your safari, you will return for dinner, a delicious selection of African-inspired cuisine, prepared by the local chef, served under the stars on the dining deck.

Day 2

Shinzelle Safaris will pick you up in the morning for your Kruger Park safari. After a short 45 min transit to Orpen gate, your Kruger safari begins. Explore the park on an open safari vehicle giving you a full panoramic view of the African bush from a higher vantage point than an ordinary vehicle.
Go in search of all the iconic animal species including the Big Five, with a specialist nature guide, using expert knowledge to interpret the natural environment in every detail. Your guide will frequent various waterholes and river systems as well as other Kruger hotspots to maximize your opportunity to see as much as possible and ensure the scenery on display is ever-changing and picturesque.
Breakfast will be individually packed by the lodge to be enjoyed at a picnic spot, before we continue on safari for the rest of the day, stopping for lunch in between. You'll return to Khaya Ndlovu in the afternoon. Here you will have some leisure time before dinner is served on the dining deck.

A Day of Safaris & Leisure at Khaya Ndlovu in the Reitspruit Big Game Reserve
Join your guide for tea and coffee before heading out on a sunrise safari on the Reitspruit Big Game Reserve where Khaya Ndlovu is situated. Expert guides will impart their vast knowledge of the African wilderness to you, while in search of the flagship animal species making an African safari special. During this 3-4 hour safari, you will stop to enjoy tea and coffee in the wilderness.
Head back for breakfast after the safari, before leisure time, where you can relax by the pool, book a spa treatment, soak in the view from the bar, have a siesta or read a book in the beautifully decorated lounge.
High tea is served in the late afternoon before departing on your sunset safari. You will then begin your safari in the Reitspruit Game Reserve, which goes into the evening with the spotlights on in search of nocturnal animals that you may not have had the opportunity to see. Enjoy sundowners in the bush before heading back to enjoy a delicious meal on the dining deck under the stars.

As the sun rises over the African savanna, you will enjoy tea and coffee before departing on a sunrise safari on the Rietspruit Big Game Reserve. The reserve is home to the flagship species of Africa and gives you your last opportunity to soak in the sites and sounds of the African savanna.
After your morning safari, you will have breakfast on the dining deck by the pool. Your transfer will pick you up for your return shuttle back to OR Tambo Johannesburg.
