Day 1
Welcome to Uganda
Welcome to Uganda
Today you arrive in Uganda - famously known as the Pearl of Africa because of it great diversity and beauty. Our representative and your guide will receive you at the airport and then transfer you to your accommodation. Depending on arrival time, you can choose to walk around the laid back city of Entebbe, or simply rest off the jetlag.

Day 2
Walk with the Rhinos
Walk with the Rhinos
After breakfast, you will depart for the northern Uganda and its endless savannah plains. First stop is at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where you get to walk with the rhinos. This is the only place in Uganda where you will find this member of the African Big Five. The rhino are powerful majestic animals. Moving with your ranger and guide, you will get to know more about these very endangered animals. Proceed later for lunch and onto to your accommodation in Murchison Falls National Park.

Day 3

Game Drive and Safari Cruise to Murchison falls
Murchison Falls National Park is the largest park in Uganda. It is home to a wide variety of wildlife, thus giving amazing game viewing drives. Start off early so you can catch the animals at their morning meal. You may even get the chance to find hunting or feeding lions. Look out for elephants, giraffes, jackson's hartebeest, cape buffalos, and if you are lucky, leopards. Leopards are shy predators and keep out of sight as much as they can. In the afternoon continue your safari on the Nile River to the mighty Murchison falls. You will leave the boat not farm from the bottom of the falls so you can hike up to the top of the falls. This section of the park has no wild animals so it is safe to hike.

Day 4
Transfer to Kibale National Park
Transfer to Kibale National Park
After breakfast you travel south on to Kibale National Park. The drive will take you through beautiful beautiful landscapes along the edge of the great western rift valley. You will go past the foothills of the Rwenzori mountains, Africa's highest mountain range and on to your accommodation just outside the Kibale National Park.

Day 5
Chimp Trek and Nature Walk
Chimp Trek and Nature Walk
Kibale National Park is best known for the chimps - and for a good reason it is fondly referred to as the chimp capital of the world. Today's excursion will take you through this tropical forest which is home to a large concentration of chimps. There are also other primates, lots of birds and butterflies you will be seeing on this nature trek.
In the afternoon after take another excursion to the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. Engage the locals on this trail.

Day 6
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After a leisurely breakfast travel further south to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The drive will take you through Kasese on the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains. For many of the climbers of Rwenzori, Kasese is the starting point. Cross the equator just before you get to the park and check into your accommodation. Depending on your time you could simply relax or spend the time exploring the crater and salt lakes here.

Day 7
Game Drive and Boat Safari
Game Drive and Boat Safari
Game drives start out early before sunrise so you are there just as the wildlife begins the new day. Look out for some of Africa's Big 5 like the elephants, buffalo, lions and leopards. The hunters and hunted are all out so it is great time for photography or simply enjoy the wildlife.
In the afternoon you will take a water safari on the Kazinga Channel and get close to the wildlife and birds along the waterway.

Day 8
Transfer to Bwindi
Transfer to Bwindi
Today transfer to Bwindi through the southern sector of national park. Look out for tree climbing lions on your way as you go through the Ishasha sector. This is only one of two places in the world where you will find lions spending more time in the huge trees, than on the ground. And that is what makes them special - the tree climbing lions. In the afternoon you will be in Bwindi near the park. Spend the even listening to the sounds of the forest you will be visiting the next day.

Day 9
A Moment with Mountain Gorilla Family
A Moment with Mountain Gorilla Family
This is a once in a lifetime moment - trekking with mountain gorillas in this old world forest of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The trek begins with a briefing by the rangers at the park officers. Thereafter you go off into the tropical forest for the quest of your gorilla family. A trek may last anything from 2 hours to more depending on where the gorilla families are.
In the afternoon, get local and visit the villages near the national park.

Day 10
Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi where you cool off in the clear waters of this highlands lake. It is a beautiful place to swim and relax after a hard trek in the jungle that is Bwindi.
You have the option to take time to explore Lake Bunyonyi - "Bunyonyi" means small birds. And there are plenty of species to look out for in your exploration. You can choose to explore in the traditional dugout canoe or a small boat.

Day 11
Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Today you transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. This is Uganda's smallest park but one of the best for walking safaris. You can walk, ride horse or bike through the park with a wildlife ranger. This savannah park is surrounded by some of the major cattle keeping communities in Uganda. You have the option of visiting one of the neighboring villages to experience the culture.

Day 12

Safari Walk and Departure
The Lake Mburo National Park is a landscape of open and wooded savanna, forests, and wetlands. This diverse habitat is visited by at least 313 bird species; home to big mammals like giraffe, zebra, eland and buffalo. The absence of the big cats like the lion makes Lake Mburo National Park a favorite for walking safaris. Walking will bring you up close to the wildlife —giving you a totally different experience compared to being in a game drive vehicle.
After your safari, transfer to Entebbe. You will make a stopover at the Equator as your move from the southern into the northern hemisphere.
