The steep walls rise from 400 to 610 meters from the crater floor, and its base covers 264 square kilometers (19km in diameter). The height of the original volcano must have been between 4,500 and 5,800 meters. After the game drive in the crater, return to the airport for the flight to Zanzibar at 4:30 pm.
