Dar es Salaam to Mikumi

Depart from Dar es Salaam in the morning and drive through scenic landscapes, passing villages and the lush Uluguru Mountains on the way to Mikumi National Park, often referred to as “The Little Serengeti”. Arrive in time for lunch, then head out on your first game drive across Mikumi’s vast savannah plains. Keep an eye out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, and prides of lions resting under acacia trees. As the sun sets over the park, return to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the wild.
