You will be picked up from Dar es Salaam and transferred to Nyerere National Park, a scenic journey of approximately four to five hours through the Tanzanian countryside. Upon arrival at lodge, check in and take some time to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings before your evening activity.
Later, set out on a memorable sunset boat safari along the magnificent Rufiji River, one of the highlights of Nyerere National Park. This unique experience offers an opportunity to explore the park's rich aquatic ecosystem, home to large populations of hippos, Nile crocodiles, and an incredible variety of water birds. Along the riverbanks, you may also witness elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and other wildlife coming to drink.
As the sun begins to set, enjoy the breathtaking scenery and the golden reflections on the river, creating perfect photographic opportunities and an unforgettable safari experience. Later, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Begin your day with an early breakfast at 7:00 AM before taking a short five-minute drive to the entrance of Nyerere National Park. Today is dedicated to an exciting full-day game drive in a specially modified safari vehicle, accompanied by a professional guide who will share fascinating insights into the park's wildlife, ecosystems, and natural history.
As you explore the park's vast wilderness, keep your camera ready for incredible wildlife encounters. Nyerere National Park is home to an impressive diversity of animals, including lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and the rare and endangered African wild dog.
Continue your afternoon game drive in search of more wildlife and memorable sightings before returning to your accommodation at around 6:30 PM. As the sun sets over the African bush, unwind and enjoy a delicious dinner while reflecting on an unforgettable day of adventure in one of Tanzania's most spectacular wildlife destinations.

Walking Safari – Return to Dar es Salaam

Begin your final day with an early morning walking safari led by an experienced bushman and professional guide. This unique experience offers an opportunity to explore the wilderness on foot and gain a deeper understanding of the park's ecology and history. Learn about the traditional uses of medicinal plants and trees, discover how local communities have lived in harmony with nature, and identify animal tracks and footprints left behind by the park's wildlife.
A walking safari also provides the perfect chance to observe the smaller wonders of the bush that are often missed during game drives, including birds, insects, reptiles, and small mammals, while experiencing the sights, sounds, and scents of the African wilderness up close.
After the walk, return to the camp for a hearty breakfast before beginning your journey back to Dar es Salaam, arrive in Dar es Salaam in the early evening, where you will be transferred to your hotel or the airport.
