Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be personally greeted by your safari driver and transferred to Arusha, a vibrant town situated at the foothills of Mount Meru, Africa’s fifth-highest mountain. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be provided at the lodge.

Day 2

After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up and take you to Tarangire National Park, with a picnic lunch provided for the journey. During your safari, your guide will share insights into the fascinating ways elephants communicate through subtle behaviors.
Tarangire is renowned for its towering baobab trees, large elephant herds, abundant plains game, and a rich variety of predators. In the early evening, you will head to your accommodation, arriving in time for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park via the southern route, carrying picnic lunch boxes for the journey. The route heads south along the main road toward Dodoma, Tanzania’s capital, before turning off at Mbuyu wa Mgerumani, a village that still reflects the area’s German colonial history.
As you continue west, the Great Rift Valley escarpment rises dramatically in the distance, with fertile highlands feeding the wetlands now used for rice cultivation. Along the way, you will pass picturesque farming villages, see livestock grazing, and observe farmers tending their rice paddies. During your game drive, you will discover why parts of this region were featured in Out of Africa.
Spend the day game viewing in Lake Manyara National Park, known for its lush groundwater forests, lakeside grasslands, and diverse vegetation. In the late afternoon, depart the park and drive to Karatu, arriving in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.

After breakfast, you will drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend to the crater floor, spending a full day exploring one of Africa’s most remarkable natural wonders — a collapsed volcano that was once as high as present-day Mount Meru.
The Ngorongoro Crater is a true wildlife haven, home to some of the continent’s largest elephants, impressive lion prides, and vast herds of plains game such as zebras and wildebeests. It is also one of the last places in Africa where free-ranging black rhinos can still be seen. You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater while taking in its extraordinary biodiversity.
As the sun begins to set, you will ascend to the crater rim and drive back to Arusha, marking the end of your unforgettable safari adventure.
