Day 1
Tarangire National Park

Today after breakfast you will be collected from your lodge and drive to Tarangire National Park with lunch boxes. The drive to Tarangire National Park is about 110 Km and takes about 2 hours from Arusha
Tarangire National Park is a huge park best known for its large herds of elephants, but it’s also great for lion and leopard, wonderful for bird life, great variety of landscape and wildlife. The gorgeous Silale Swamp, towards the south of the park, is magnificent and almost always rich in wildlife taking advantage of this reliable water source. The park provides water not only from the swamp, but also from the Tarangire River and during the dry season it’s the primary source of water for animals from the entire area, making for fantastic viewing.
After a full day in the park, we will drive to Marera Valley lodge in Karatu town for overnight and dinner.

Day 2
Serengeti National Park

Today after breakfast you will drive to the famous Serengeti.
You will visit a Maasai Village in the Ngorongoro Highlands (optional) where you will meet the Elders, Warriors, women and children and learn about the culture, beliefs and traditions of Tanzania’s last nomadic tribe
The central Serengeti boast those spectacular “endless plains,” dotted with acacia trees and the occasional rocky kopjes — What is special about Central Serengeti is the wide open spaces, driving through the miles and miles of animals as far as the eye can see, riverine forest and leopard. There is nice chance of seeing leopard along the river valleys also the wildebeest spread over a large area (It can be visited at any time of the year)
You will have your lunch in the park thereafter continue with the game drive. In the evening you will drive to an authentic intimate tented camp set in a secluded part of the game-rich Seronera Valley in Central Serengeti.

Day 3

Before sunrise around 6 am we leave the lodge for early morning game drive. Sunrise and sunset are good times to see wildlife, as this is when they are most active. You will enjoy beautiful sunrise at endless plains of the Serengeti and a game drive. We go back to the lodge around 8 or 9 am and to have breakfast.
You have choices to go to a full day game drive with lunch boxes after breakfast or stay the lodge and relax after lunch then go for an evening game drive around 3 pm
Later in the day you will drive back to your camp for overnight and dinner.

Day 4
Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Today you will drive to the stunning Ngorongoro Crater. This Crater is the world’s largest intact collapsed caldera (volcano) which is a self-contained ecosystem with its own unique population of wildlife in a confined area of amazing variety.
The crater boasts lots of lions, hyena, fantastic bird-life, serval, Cape buffalo, zebra and gorgeous landscapes – Also there is an added advantage of seeing Rhino’s, if you are lucky. The view from the veranda of the lodges are breath taking especially in the morning with the early morning mist, because of the high altitude (It can be visited at any time of the year)
You will have your lunch in the Crater and then continue with the game drive. In the late afternoon you we will drive back to Arusha in the afternoon and arrive at Arusha around 5 or 6 pm.

Day 5
Nungwi, Zanzibar

Today after breakfast you will be driven to Arusha/Kilimanjaro airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you will be met by a Tales of Tanzania driver, and you will be driven to your hotel where the remainder of the day is at leisure. Please note: Rates include a fixed budget for flights. If flights cost more, your quote will reflect this.

After breakfast, you will join your guide for Spice plantation tour. Zanzibar has been blessed with abundant graces including spices, in ancient days they called it the spice Island.
A delightful trip to the central part of the Island from your hotel will be joined by our insightful guide who will expose you to the culinary world.
Here you will smell and taste different varieties of spices including Cloves, Cinnamon, Cadamon, Nutmeg, Pepper, curry leaves and others.
After the tour, you will enjoy a large, traditional meal that has been cooked using the spices and herbs you have just learned about. Then drive to your hotel or resort where the remainder of the day is spent at leisure.

Day 7-8

Today is a leisure day. You can explore Nungwi Beach, one of the most popular beaches in Zanzibar - for a good reason. Unlike the rest of the island, Nungwi is blessed by not having to deal with high and low tides. It is the perfect place if you are looking to swim around the clock without having to walk far out to sea to chase the ocean mile away. Nungwi is also known for its party atmosphere, but it’s not to be compared with the typical party beach destinations elsewhere in the world.
