Hotel Pickup and Fly-in to Nyerere National Park for game drive

We will pick you up from your hotel, transfer you to Zanzibar Airport, and depart on the 6:00am flight to Nyerere National Park. We can arrange for your pick-up from any location in Zanzibar!

Upon arrival at Nyerere National Park, we will take you on a game drive where you will see the area's many wonders.

The park is home to a large population of elephants, buffalo, hippos, crocodiles, and endangered wild dogs. Commonly seen are lion, bushbuck, impala, warthog, ostrich, giraffe, eland, baboon, zebra, hyena, kudu, rare sable antelope, and leopard. In addition, there are great animal sightings, including other significant species like the rare African hunting dog.

Arround 1:00pm a hot lunch will be served before you embark on a game drive for the rest of the day. Then, finally, you will drive to your accommodation for your overnight stay.

Game Drive in Nyerere National Park & Evening Flight to Zanzibar

You enjoy an early morning breakfast at 6:30am, and from there, proceed with a game drive in Nyerere National Park accompanied by experienced guides. Here you will see a large variety of birds and wonderful scenery with varied topography, including wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forest, and higher ground with vast views of far off mountains.

You stop for lunch at 1:30pm and have a short break before the game drive continues at 3:00pm. After the game drive, we will return to the airport for your flight back to Zanzibar. Again, your drop-off is at the airport or, if you prefer, another location within Zanzibar.
