Depart from OR Tambo International Airport by shuttle to Khaya Ndlovu Manor House in the Rietspruit Game Reserve, a stone's throw from the wildlife town of Hoedspruit. It's on the doorstep of Kruger, with a breathtaking backdrop of the Drakensburg Mountains.
Khaya Ndlovu offers luxurious accommodations with a swimming pool, bar and lounge, day spa, and a dining area under the trees exuding a lush and exotic ambience.
After check-in and lunch, head out on a sunset safari under the guidance of knowledgeable guides. Safaris take place in the Rietspruit Game Reserve. The reserve boasts sprawling vistas of the Drakensberg Mountains where you can expect to encounter lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and a host of common game such as giraffe, zebra, and various antelope.
After your safari, you will return for dinner, a delicious selection of African-inspired cuisine prepared by the local chef, served under the stars on the dining deck.

Day 2

Full-Day Open Vehicle Safari in Kruger National Park
Shinzelle Safaris will pick you up in the morning for your Kruger Park safari. After a short 45-min transit to Orpen gate, your Kruger Park safari begins. Explore the park on an open safari vehicle with a full panoramic view of the African bush from a higher vantage point than an ordinary vehicle.
Search for all of the iconic animal species including the Big Five with a specialist nature guide, using expert knowledge to interpret the natural environment in every detail. Your guide will frequent various waterholes and river systems as well as other Kruger hotspots to maximize your opportunity to see as much as possible and ensure the scenery on display is ever-changing and picturesque.
Breakfast will be individually packed by the lodge to be enjoyed at a picnic spot before we continue on safari for the rest of the day, stopping for lunch in between. Return to Khaya Ndlovu in the afternoon where you will have some leisure time before dinner is served on the dining deck.

Day 3
A Day of Safaris & Leisure at Khaya Ndlovu in the Rietspruit Game Reserve
A Day of Safaris & Leisure at Khaya Ndlovu in the Rietspruit Game Reserve
Join your guide for tea and coffee before heading out on a sunrise safari in the Rietspruit Game Reserve where Khaya Ndlovu is situated. Expert guides will impart their vast knowledge of the African wilderness to you. Search for the flagship animal species making an African safari special. During this 3 - 4 hour safari, you will stop to enjoy tea and coffee in the wilderness.
Head back for breakfast after the safari. Enjoy some leisure time where you can relax by the pool, book a spa treatment, soak in the view from the bar, have a siesta, or read a book in the beautifully-decorated lounge.
High tea is served in the late afternoon before departing on your sunset safari. You will then begin your safari in the Rietspruit Game Reserve which goes on into the evening with spotlights, in search of the nocturnal animals that you may not have had the opportunity to see. Enjoy sundowners in the bush before heading back to enjoy a delicious meal on the dining deck under the stars.

Day 4

Panoramic Tour of the Blyde River Canyon
On our third day, we will depart from Khaya Ndlovu for the magnificent Blyde River Canyon. This natural wonder is one of the largest green canyons in the world and is a must-see when visiting the Kruger region.
Our day will include a scenic road trip to the Three Rondavels viewpoint before heading down the canyon to Bourke's Luck Potholes. We will then head to the famous and beautiful God's Window before heading to the tourist town of Graskop to enjoy a popular pancake lunch.
After lunch, we will return to Hoedspruit where a boat is waiting to take you on a cruise of the Blyderivierpoort Dam. This leisurely 90-min cruise will take you to the Kadishi Tufa Waterfall and give you a different perspective of the Three Rondavels. The dam and its surrounds are home to many wildlife species and birds.
After completing a day of natural wonder and breathtaking views, we will head back to your accommodation for a delicious meal prepared by the in-house chef.

As the sun rises over the African savannah, you will enjoy tea and coffee before departing on a sunrise safari in the Rietspruit Game Reserve. The reserve is home to the flagship species of Africa and gives you the last opportunity to soak in the sites and sounds of the African savannah. During your morning safari, you will stop for tea and coffee in the bush, letting you feel the warmth of the African sun rising over the savannah.
After your morning safari, you will have breakfast on the dining deck by the pool before your transfer picks you up for your return shuttle back to OR Tambo Johannesburg.
