Nairobi - Lewa Wildlife Conservancy

You will be picked up early in the morning from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transferred to Wilson Airport, where you will catch your local flight to Lewa. Upon arrival at Lewa Downs Airstrip, you will be picked up and transferred to your camp for lunch and a short rest. After lunch, you will depart for a late afternoon game drive or enjoy other activities offered at the camp. Most of the Safari camps/lodges have open-sided game drive 4×4 Landcruiser jeep vehicles. You can enjoy an almost private wildlife-viewing experience.

You'll spend this whole day with morning and afternoon game drives in search of the Big Five and many other wildlife that inhabit these beautiful savannah plains. Activities you will engage in apart from game drives include bush walks, sundowners, and bush picnics. Lewa is an excellent location for all the Big Five and several other wildlife. It is a good location for photographers and nature lovers.
