Upon arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta Airport, you will be met by our airport representative and transferred to your city hotel for a briefing. Our rep will take you through a brief pre-safari orientation before embarking on your dream safari adventure in Kenya. Commence on your drive west, past Mount Longonot, and via Narok to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge. Go on a late afternoon game-viewing drive. Dinner and overnight will be at Enkorok Mara Camp.

Masai Mara National Reserve

A full day is spent at the Masai Mara National Reserve. You will drive across the plains in search of the big cats (black-maned lions, cheetahs, and leopards) with a picnic lunch served at the Mara River site. Vast herds of wildebeest and zebra wander across the Mara grasslands in huge numbers during this period of the annual migrations. This is when millions of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle traverse the Mara plains landscape to feed on the rich new grass from the Serengeti. You also have a chance to see other plains game like topi, hartebeest and eland. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.

Masai Mara National Reserve

The calm early morning air of the Masai Mara has made the introduction of hot-air balloon flights possible. It is available as an optional tour to see the park from a bird's-eye view from leading lodges and camps in the reserve. Please reserve early to avoid disappointment.

Go on a pre-breakfast morning game drive in the reserve. It is a great opportunity to explore the vast flora and fauna of this magnificent reserve. After a rewarding game drive, return to your lodge for a late morning breakfast. After lunch, go on a late afternoon game-viewing drive.

Another option is to go on a full-day game drive with picnic lunch boxes. This full-day game drive includes visits to the Mara River, the Kenya/Tanzania Border Post, and a great chance to view the "Big Five". You will have a picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool. Return to your lodge late in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight will be at Enkorok Mara Camp.

After breakfast at the camp, embark on your return journey to Nairobi. On arrival in the early afternoon, you will be dropped off in Nairobi (the use of a room is excluded). You will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport 3 hours before your scheduled international departure flight.
