Your day begins before sunrise with an early morning game drive across the Timbavati. Open vehicles, a dedicated ranger and a Shangaan tracker whose knowledge of this land runs deep - this is game viewing at its most immersive. The Timbavati's unfenced boundary with Kruger means wildlife roams freely across a vast area, and the reserve's low visitor numbers ensure that sightings are rarely rushed.

Big Five encounters are a regular feature, and the open terrain around Walkers Plains is particularly good for lion and elephant on the move.

Each drive runs approximately three hours with a bush stop; coffee and rusks as the sun rises on the morning drive, sundowners with the escarpment glowing behind you in the evening. Your tracker will spotlight for nocturnal animals on the way back to camp, where dinner awaits. Return from the morning drive for a leisurely breakfast and a midday rest before heading out again as the heat of the day gives way to the golden afternoon light.

After an early morning game drive and breakfast, your private transfer will take you to Hoedspruit Airport for your onward Travel.
