Manyara to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will drive to Serengeti via Ngorongoro and later depart to the most celebrated wildlife park in the world - the Serengeti - with a packed lunch. The drive will take you to the midst of the endless plains of grassland.

Serengeti means the "endless plain" in the local African language. Watching the grassland stretch out as far as the eye can see and eventually merge with the sky at the horizon, is an absolutely breathtaking view. The Serengeti is home to the glorious Big 5 (elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard, and rhino). Along with the Big 5, a very pleasant sighting would be one of the most beautiful animals, the impala. The ecosystem supports the greatest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa. The eventful day comes to an end after taking a hot shower, a very nice dinner, and a good rest after another eventful day.

The Serengeti National Park derives its name from the Maasai language meaning "endless plain". This massive plain (14,763 sq km) is a natural habitat for many animals and birdlife. In many cases, the migration takes place around the Serengeti. Millions of wildebeest and zebra mingle followed by predators. There will be 2 sessions of game safaris in a Jeep that take you to vantage points to witness this great phenomenon that you can't find anywhere else in the world.
