We just got back from the safari of a lifetime! Gowitness African Safaris looked after us better than I could ever imagine and exceeded our expectations. From the moment I got in touch about booking a safari until the moment I landed back home I was looked after by this company. I love to support small local businesses as they provide personal care and attention. This was definitely achieved by Gowitness, who took care of everything from the transfer to the airport, flights, 4wd and amazing safari guides, beautiful accomodation and a fabulous safari itinerary. A special thank you to our guides who did an incredible job at finding every animal on our list and more! They had a lot of knowledge and adjusted the route to find the best wildlife.
We did the 6 day safari in tented accomodation and everywhere we stayed was top quality. The food was delicious too! We definitely got very good value for money on this trip.

I did a tour to Mahale mountains, I had to cancel twice but was determined to go so I went at the beginning of February. From when I booked the tour until after the tour, the communication was superb, the organisation of the tour was amazing and the tour itself was incredible, I can’t compliment the company enough, I highly recommend Gogiraffe safaris to anyone visiting Tanzania.

Our family safari truly was a trip of a lifetime from start to end. Luice was prompt in his response to my inquiry, questions and ensuring every detail was addressed. Alfa, our driver, provided outstanding service. Not only did he guarantee our safety on the roads, but he also impressed us with his extensive wildlife knowledge and exceptional spotting abilities. Thanks to his keen eye, we observed a diverse array of animals, including elephants, lions—highlighted by a memorable sighting of a lioness with her cubs—giraffes, zebras, and many more species in their natural habitats. The accommodation arranged for us was both comfortable and welcoming. The staff consistently went out of their way to be helpful, enhancing our overall experience. A particularly thoughtful aspect was how Luice communicated my daughter’s food allergies to the lodges in advance, ensuring that her dietary needs were met and she was well cared for throughout our stay. Among the many highlights, the breathtaking scenery offering us a window into Tanzania's natural beauty. The safari hot air balloon ride, which provided unique and unforgettable views of the landscape and wildlife from above. I wholeheartedly recommend Go Giraffe Safari for anyone seeking adventure, educational opportunities, and outstanding service.

Excellent treatment!
We booked a 3-night tour to Gombe National Park and Kigoma Town. Chimp trekking is a unique activity and Kigoma Town is very interesting.
Everything was made easy for us and Luice and his team replied immediately to all of our queries. We were also suggested alternatives when things took an unexpected turn!
I definitely recommend.

Go Giraffe Safaris organized a 20-days safari for us which we enjoyed very much despite long trips on bumpy roads. 3 car issues were resolved perfectly by our driver Alfar with adhering to the schedule of the trip. Our guide Kilala was excepcional. His knowledge about the Tanzanian nature is extraordinario and our conversations about cultures were very pleasant and informative. We felt like travelling with friends and both Kilala and Alfar fullfilled all our wishes, such as going to a bookshop or spending extra time when watching anímals or taking fotos of animals and landscape. The safari was really memorable.
