Day 1

Our driver will drive you from your hotel to Zanzibar Airport for a flight to Selous (Mtemere Airstrip). Our flight will depart at 6:00am, and after a 45-minute flight, you will be in Nyerere National Park.

Start our game drive with a packed lunch box. There are great animal sightings here, including all the favourites such as lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalos, zebras and all the other significant species, including the now rare African hunting dog. You will also see a large variety of birds and incredible scenery with varied topography, including wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forest, and higher ground with vast views of far-off mountains. In the afternoon, enjoy your packed lunch.

Continue with a game drive up to mid-afternoon at 3:40pm, then drive to the airstrip and board the flight at 4:00pm at Mtemere Airstrip. Our driver will be ready at Zanzibar airport to take you to the hotel.
