3-Day Wildlife Safari from Zanzibar Island

Zanzibar Island - Arusha - Tarangire National Park

You will be picked up at 6:00 a.m. from your hotel in Zanzibar and transferred to the airport for the flight to Arusha
At 7:45 a.m., you will fly to Arusha and arrive at 8:45 a.m. You will meet our driver and drive to Tarangire National Park.
The park, with its savannah, baobab trees, and seasonal swamps, is home to huge herds of elephants. Animals gather at the life-giving Tarangire River. You should see a selection of mammals from giraffes, black bucks, and harvesters to zebras and warthogs. The park also has bison, zebras, and wildebeests, which closely follow a range, of lion-like predators. Leopards are occasionally seen, but cheetahs are rarely found. From the safari vehicle's open roof, you can saturate the landscape and watch the animals. A picnic lunch will be provided and proceed with an afternoon game drive.
Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Tarangire National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

After early breakfast at the camp, you will drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day crater tour which takes about a 45-minute drive from the lodge. You will arrive at Ngorongoro and then descend to the Ngorongoro Crater, home to almost every wildlife native to East Africa, including the rare black rhinoceros. The crater has the highest concentration of wildlife on the planet. It features a river, several swamps, and a soda lake that looks like steam from above, full of flamingos, forest, and open plains. The large bull elephants living here have extremely large fangs due to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil and grasses. You will have a picnic lunch inside the park then proceed with a game drive on the way to Karatu with game drives en-route.

Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the lodge.

Karatu - Arusha - Zanzibar Island

After breakfast, you will drive to Arusha for a flight to Zanzibar Island. You will have lunch at Arusha then transfer to Arusha Airport for a flight to Zanzibar Island departing at 2:30 p.m.

At 3:30 p.m. you will arrive in Zanzibar and meet the drivers who will transfer you to your hotel or assist you to connect your international flight.
