3-Day Maasai Mara Extravaganza by Land Cruiser- Midrange

Nairobi to Maasai Mara - Appx 280 kms: 5-6 hrs drive

We start the safari journey to the Maasai Mara Game reserve, which has been named as the 7th wonder of the world, due to the spectacular great migration (July to September) when over one million wildebeests and more than one hundred thousand of Zebras cross the Mara River coming from the Serengeti in search of water and greener pastures.

The Nairobi -Maasai Mara drive is via the central highlands of Kenya with views local community settlements, with brief stops at the view-points to marvel at the scenic-great rift valley escarpment. The Great Rift Valley stretches from the Beqaa Valley in Lebanon which is in Asia to Mozambique in Southeast Africa. It’s a series of contiguous geographic trenches, approximately 6,800 kilometers in total length, and much of it is found in Kenya, where it has literally cut the country in two.

We shall then arrive at Maasai Mara in time for lunch. Later proceed for an afternoon game viewing drive.
Evening back to the Camp for dinner and overnight.

On this day, you may opt to have the full day game drives or game drives in separate successions so that you may also have a chance to enjoy lodge/camp facilities. If you go for the full day game viewing drive, you will have your picnic lunch boxes for the day.

The driver guide shall be readily available to discuss your daily activities as per your preferences.

(Perfect day to undertake optional balloon ride over the plains of Maasai Mara at a fee - $ 480 per person).

Dinner and overnight will be at the booked camp.

Drop off at your hotel/residence/Airport for your onward flight.
