Lake nakuru national park

Lake Nakuru National Park is a world class bird watching safari destination and fondly referred to as the bird watcher’s paradise the park has more than 25 black rhinoceros plus around 70 white rhinos. There are also a number of Rothschild's giraffe, Waterbuck, lion, cheetah and leopard. The park has also been a paradise for the lesser and greater flamingoes.

Masai Mara national reserve

Masai Mara offers an absolutely unique variety of animals. The reason is that this hilly region is both humid and fertile, and is crossed by the rivers Mara and Talek, full of crocodiles and hippos, which carry water the whole year round. The banks of the rivers are covered in thick forest, which gradually makes way for bush and grassland. The abundance of water and excellent availability of food are the reasons why the Masai Mara, which in fact is a continuance of the Tanzanian Serengeti National Park, has the greatest population of wild animals in the whole of Africa. There is a particularly dramatic “spectacle” from July to October, the annual migration of huge herds of Gnus and Zebras. Predators such as Hyenas, Jackals, Leopards and Lions of course, closely follow these herds. Gigantic herds of over 200 buffaloes can also be observed.

On this day you can choose to go on a full day game drive in the Mara with picnic lunch or morning and afternoon game drives. Between the game drive optional visit (payments direct) to local Masai Village is conducted. The trees in the distance might turn out to be a family of Giraffes. Those clumps of bushes a pride of Lions, and the rock that moves a Rhino lumbering out of your way. With diligence and some luck, you may encounter a family of Cheetahs, or a herd of Elephants crossing the path in front of you. Large animals are not the only entertainment - a family of warthogs may amuse you, running as fast as their little legs will carry them, until they forget why they are rushing and stop to regroup.
You have option to go for a balloon safari in the early morning hours. You pay an extra of Usd 450 per adult.

Departure

After breakfast drive back to the Capital city with a brief stop over at souvenir shop. Arrive back at the city on time for lunch at Carnivore restaurant. After lunch if time permits we can offer complimentary city tour and a visit to the giraffe center. Later you will be dropped at the airport or hotel with beautiful memories.
