Day 1

On this day, you will be picked up from the airport or hotel in Nairobi. You will drive southwest of Nairobi to Amboseli National Park which is renowned for its elephant populations and large herds, including some impressively tusked bulls which are drawn to a series of large, lush swamplands. There are areas of acacia forest that make for good birding and are home to many small mammals. Cheetahs can also be sighted in the park. You'll arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or camp.
After lunch, you can relax as you wait for the sun to go down. Then, you will proceed for an afternoon game drive.

You will return to your lodge/camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Amboseli National Park

Amboseli National Park

After breakfast at the lodge/camp, you will proceed for a morning game drive in the park. You can as well opt for a full-day game drive with picnic lunch boxes packed for you from your camp/lodge. If you go for a morning game drive, then you will return for lunch at the lodge/camp. In the afternoon, you'll relax while enjoying the lodge facilities, e.g. the swimming pool, spa, etc. At 4:00 pm, you'll embark on an afternoon game drive in the reserve until sunset. During this time, you can opt to visit the Masai village and learn their way of living and dance. (The Masai village entrance is paid on the ground at an extra fee).

Day 3

Lake Naivasha

Lake Naivasha

You will have breakfast and proceed to one of the Great Rift Valley lakes, Lake Naivasha. You will have a stopover at the viewpoint. You will proceed to your lodge arriving for lunch. In the afternoon, our guide will take you on a one-hour boat excursion at the lake to see its amazing flora and fauna. If you are lucky you will spot the African fish eagles, hippos, giraffes, waterbucks, and pelicans among other birds/wildlife that are found here. You will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Masai Mara National Reserve

Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, you will drive through Narok town and into the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Masai Mara offers a unique variety of animals. There is a particularly dramatic “spectacle” from July to October, the annual migration of huge herds of gnus and zebras. Predators such as hyenas, jackals, leopards and lions of course, closely follow these herds. Gigantic herds of over 200 buffaloes can also be observed. Plenty of food is available for elephants, giraffes, and the many species of antelopes. You'll arrive in time for lunch at your camp. In the afternoon you will go for a game drive and later return to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5

Masai Mara National Reserve

On this day, you can choose to go on a full-day game drive in the Mara with a picnic lunch or morning and afternoon game drives. Between the game drive an optional visit (payments direct) to the local Masai Village is conducted. The trees in the distance might turn out to be a family of giraffes. Those clumps of bushes a pride of lions, and the rock that moves a rhino lumbering out of your way. With diligence and some luck, you may encounter a family of cheetahs or a herd of elephants crossing the path in front of you. Large animals are not the only entertainment - a family of warthogs may amuse you, running as fast as their little legs will carry them until they forget why they are rushing and stop to regroup.
You have the option to go on a balloon safari. You'll pay an extra Usd 450 per adult.
