Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Dar es Salaam into the heart of Nyerere National Park one of Africa's largest and most untouched wilderness areas. As the city fades behind you, the landscape opens into sweeping bush and golden afternoon light. Settle into camp and prepare for a spectacular welcome — a Sunset Boat Cruise along the legendary Rufiji River. Drift through ancient channels as hippos surface beside the boat, crocodiles bask on warm sandbanks, and elephants wade at the water's edge. The sky turns amber and rose as Africa's oldest river carries you gently into the night.

Day 2
Game Drive in Nyerere National Park

Early morning, after breakfast, you will depart for a full-day game drive in Selous Game Reserve (now Nyerere National Park). Enjoy an exciting wildlife-viewing experience from the comfort of an open-top safari vehicle, offering an immersive journey through the African wilderness.
Expect to encounter a variety of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, and the rare African wild dog. At midday, you will stop at a designated picnic area in the park for lunch, before continuing with your afternoon game drive until sunset.
As the day comes to an end, you will return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay at Mloka Safari Lodge.

Early in the morning, you will have the option to choose between:
•Bushmen Walking Safari – a unique and exciting guided walk through the wilderness, learning about survival skills, tracking animals, and discovering medicinal plants.

•Maasai Cultural Tour – an immersive cultural experience where you’ll interact with Maasai community members, learn about their traditions, daily life, and enjoy traditional dances.
After your chosen activity, return to the lodge for breakfast, then depart with packed lunch to Mikumi Village via Morogoro. Along the way, you may spot wildlife as you cross Mikumi National Park. Dinner and overnight at Mikumi Bastian Camp.

Day 4

After an early breakfast, enter Mikumi National Park for a morning game drive across the famous Mkata floodplain, a haven for elephants, lions, wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, and colorful birdlife. Capture the beauty of the open savannah and observe animal interactions up close.
Return to camp around 12:00 noon for a hot lunch, then drive to Iringa for an overnight stay at Iringa Sunset View Lodge. Enjoy panoramic views of the highlands as you unwind after a scenic day.
Evening Guide Session: Relax as your guide discusses the highlights of Mikumi, reviews species spotted, and briefs you about the journey ahead to Ruaha—the land of giants and dramatic wilderness.

Day 5

After breakfast, depart Iringa for Ruaha National Park, a scenic 2–3 hour drive depending on road conditions. Enter the park and begin your first game drive across the vast landscapes of baobab-dotted savannah. Ruaha is famous for its huge elephant herds, prides of lions, and graceful kudu. You’ll stop for a picnic lunch by the river and continue the game drive till late afternoon.
Evening Guide Session: Your guide will brief you about the next day’s safari routes, wildlife behavior, and park safety tips to help you make the most of your time in Tanzania’s largest national park.

Ruaha is Tanzania's crown jewel of the south raw, vast, and breathtakingly wild. Spend a full day exploring its rivers, kopjes, and open plains on game drives. Expect encounters with massive elephant herds, prides of lions, leopards, cheetahs, greater and lesser kudus, roan and sable antelopes, and over 570 bird species. Although rare, spotting African wild dogs is a truly special and rewarding experience, often depending on luck. Ruaha carries one of the highest lion densities in Africa predator sightings here are nothing short of spectacular.

Drive back to Dar es Salaam
After breakfast at 7:30 AM, you will begin your journey back to Dar es Salaam, passing through Iringa and Morogoro. This is a long but scenic drive, offering a wonderful opportunity to experience the authentic Tanzanian countryside. Along the way, you will pass through local villages, beautiful landscapes of forests, and rolling hills. There will be several stops en route to stretch your legs and enjoy the surroundings.
You are expected to arrive in Dar es Salaam in the late evening, where you will be dropped off at your hotel.
