Day 1

Your naturalist guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and take you on a journey to Tarangire National Park. This park is Tanzania's third largest and known for its vast elephant population. Majestic baobab trees dot the landscape, creating a unique backdrop for the animals that roam beneath them. Wildlife often gather around the Tarangire River, the only permanent water supply in the area, providing you with the opportunity to see lions, leopards, and cheetahs. After a full day of exploring, you will head to the Karatu area for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 2
Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, at 8:00 am, you will depart with your naturalist guide for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Once you arrive, you will descend to the crater floor for an amazing game viewing experience. The crater floor is home to almost 30,000 animals and features watering holes, shelters, and steep slopes rising 610m from the floor. You will have the chance to see the ‘Big Five’: lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unbroken caldera in the world, surrounded by steep walls, and considered to be one of the natural wonders of the world. It provides a haven for wildlife throughout the year, thanks to the permanent availability of grass and water.
In the late afternoon, you will drive back to your lodge in Karatu.

Day 3
Karatu – Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha +fly to Zanzibar

After having breakfast at the lodge, you will depart for Lake Manyara with a packed lunch for a game viewing experience. Lake Manyara National Park is one of Africa's most beautiful places, characterized by lush green vegetation with tall trees of the groundwater forest that serve as homes for troops of baboons and blue monkeys. The forest then opens up to woodland, grassland, swamps, and the soda lake itself, which boasts over 350 bird species, including the lively flamingo, pelican, sacred ibis, grebe, and stork. At the park's southern end are hot sulphur springs called Maji Moto. Manyara is renowned for its numerous buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, impalas, hippos, as well as a great variety of smaller animals and the elusive tree-climbing lions.
Later in the afternoon, you'll drive to Arusha and catch a flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to The Loop/Fun Beach Hotel for an overnight stay with breakfast included.

Day 4-5

After breakfast, the day is free for you to enjoy at your leisure with various optional activities. As you're staying on the Jambiani coast, you can take advantage of the opportunity to visit the Jozani Forest, Butterfly Gardens, and participate in water activities as the beach provides excellent wind for excursions. Your overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Departure
Upon finishing breakfast at the hotel, you will have some leisure time in the morning, waiting for your transfer service, which will be scheduled based on your international departure details. Subsequently, we will provide a transfer service to Zanzibar Airport to catch your departing flight.
